Xpel has great PPF. A little bit more difficult to cut than other brands but that's good because it offers more protection. I do see the complaints about the product cutting with strands. I didn't notice one or two strands in the pieces that I installed but it wasn't a big deal. I'm sure when cutting a three-quarter inch strip of PPF it would be almost impossible to avoid this. The instructions did not say to install it wet but I installed it just like any other PPF with slip solution and it looks great

I bought this door edge guard for my 2025 BMW X5. My first attempt to install had some imperfections. Subsequent application went better and the final result is pleasing.I bought the 1/2 inch size. In retrospect the 3/4 inch might have been easier to install. But the 1/2 inch worked just fine.

Thick and adheres well, but the edges are not cut well and are raggedy.

Perfect for keeping my doors safe from rough edges when you least expect it. From wind swinging the door to accident bumps of the door to a wall, rest assured this will save your paint.

Excellent product to protect your vehicle's paint. It's very easy to install even on curved or round applications. It curves very well and sticks well.

It's easy to use and fits just one car.

I got the 3/8th inch film. It's relatively easy to install if you take your time, and 3/8th is just enough to have just a little bit on each side. The downside to this is that the tape seems to thread rather easily -- you'll have tiny threads that stick off the edge of the tape. Whatever cutting process they're using to produce the tape doesn't seem to make clean cuts all the time.Looking at my install a few days later, the threads are quite visible. They need to have better quality control and cut these better.I'll be returning this.

There is more than enough to apply to multiple doors and on more than one car. The PPF adheres well to clean painted service and is easy to follow curves.I didn't rate 5 stars because the PPF had some hair wide strands that peeled off the edges of the precut side. I had to pull off these loose strands before applying to the car when I saw them as I unrolled the PPF. Or I had to pull the strands off after applying to the car which occasionally got under the sticky side. Not sure this is a normal issue or I got a bad roll.
