There is a charm in being unremarkable. These notebooks have them.Looks plain and ordinary but are well put together, have a good touch-feel to them. The outer cover is hard enough and the paper inside is good quality.Functionally, the paper does not stain or smudges. I use ink pen to write on it. On that department it passes.The notebook is not glued together, it uses some type of spiral thing to hold it together (see in product pic). So it opens flat. It's important because the notebooks are A5 (small sized).Outer cover is hard, but won't take any weight. Will easily bend if force is applied. As I said above it "looks" good, provides no functional protection or support.All in all, it has all the things the product promised. It might not be the best one out there, but it's honest.

Got this notebook today, and this is first Solimo notebook that I have ordered for myself. The reviews for the product were good and for good reason. I have used the following pens and inks with the notebook and they have all performed well.Pens used: Pilot Kakuno Medium, Parker Frontier, Pilot V7, Parker VectorInks used: Diamine Majestic Blue, Pelikan Brilliant Brown, Pilot Blue, Lamy Petrol(2025)From the little that I have tested, I can't recommend this notebook enough. All the pen and ink combination that I have used worked beautifully - The flow was nice and smooth; You'd definitely enjoy writing on this notebook. There is minimal ghosting (that won't bother you) - The paper certainly behaves like a 90/100 gsm paper.Give these notebooks a try, You won't be disappointed. It behaved on par with Neorah and Factor Notes which are a bit expensive than this. The notebook, of course, is Fountain pen friendly - minimal/no ghosting, smooth flow, good amount of sheen from Diamine Majestic Blue. You can use them for Journaling if you like. The quality of pages is that good.I am ordering one more pack for myself soon enough :)

These Solimo spiral notebooks are really good for everyday use.Pages are thick enough and don’t bleed through with ink pens.The binding feels sturdy and the cover looks clean and simple.Great deal for the price — I’d definitely reorder.

High value for money! The thickness is 100gsm and I finally got a notebook to use my soggy fountain pen.

The items are excellent. Quite value for money. I wrote on it with Parker Frontier as well as Lamy Al-star medium nib and have no regrets buying 3 notebooks all at once. The quality of pages are at par, if not better than the factor notes' pages. I wrote on them back to back and will stand by my word. It is better than factor notes' paper quality.Solimo comes and gives you the feeling that how much premium other manufacturers charge just for the sake of brand value.

Paper quality is very good, and the book has proper binding to lay flat.However it is not proper A5 size. It's actually smaller than the standard A5 size by a decent margin.

Neat stuff. Good quality paper. Good for writing with pencil (lead) or pen (ink) both.
