Well, Amazon is my little addiction, and much to the detriment of my wallet I order more items off of here per day than a wholesale supply store. That said, unfortunately for other buyers, I rarely write reviews on those items. That will not be the case for Power to Sleep PM. The main reason I write so few reviews is that I am either unimpressed with said item or I order a product in which I and everyone else is already very familiar with. Generally, I know a bit about the product I am ordering, however, with Power to Sleep PM I was a consumer flying blind. The only info I had on the product was the testimony of a group of individuals who post on a popular internet forum. One day, their was a thread regarding vitamins/supplements and which ones are the best; it was obvious that a lot of people loved their Fish Oil, and it was likewise obvious that a lot of insomniacs were swearing by the benefits of Power to Sleep PM.Due to the posts in the forum and the subsequent reviews I read on Amazon, I pulled the trigger and bought a bottle. Surprisingly, after taking the recommended dosage of 2 capsules 30 minutes before lying down for bed, the product worked just as advertized and I got a full night sleep. I say it was surprising, or at least a bit of a shocker that Power to Sleep PM worked because there are so many products with unrealistic claims and no actual benefits; but this is too be expected in the unregulated world of the supplement industry. However, I do want everyone to know that this product actually works, so much so in fact that I thought it necessary write a review.In summary, Power to Sleep PM is a Godsend for anyone suffering from the agony of insomnia. I see some reviews saying that it didn't work. All I can think of is that perhaps the brain chemistry of certain consumers is wired in away to not receive the benefits of the herbal cocktail inside P-T-S PM. Moreover, it is possible that they didn't take the recommended dosage or they stopped taking the vitamins before their body chemistry adapted to the Melatonin, GABBA, Valerian root, Ashwaganda, and other minerals and botanicals inside the pill that help to promote a healthy sleep cycle ad an opportunity to work.Perhaps P-T-S PM will not work for everyone, but it did for me, actually it knocked me out. Moreover, all this is coming from an individual who has battled insomnia for years! I have taken Ambien, Tylenol PM, and worst yet, became addicted to Xanax in the effort to get some rest. Fortunately for me I have been off the Xanax for a few years, and after 2 weeks of taking Power to Sleep PM I am now getting 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep without the aid of those horrible chemical ridden OTC sleep aids.Good luck, and hopefully good night people!

Works well. I slept for 7 hours without interruption.

I know what insomnia feels like and the desperation that comes from looking for something, anything to help you go to sleep and stay asleep. I'm not going to tell you to NOT try this product, but for the sake of having more realistic expectations going into it: this product did nothing for me. At all. And this was a huge disappointment based on the reviews of the product here at Amazon.Everybody's different. This may work for you! But this didn't help me at all. I've tried everything from prescription meds to OTC melatonin, benadryl, CBD, and Ny-Quil. I've tried combinations of these on the same night looking for some magic solution. I'll say that the prescription Elavil + CBD + Melatonin had the best results but even then, it will take me 3 hours to go to sleep sometimes. I never have caffeine after noon.I had high hopes for this because of the positive reviews, but it literally did zero for me. I feel what you're going through. Try it and I hope it works for you.

3 Stars because I used to love them. Either my body is rejecting these pills, or something in this formula has changed.I have trouble sleeping and discovered these about 2 years ago. I would take them almost every night, especially while I was working and needed to regulate my sleep schedule. They helped me with frequent sleep paralysis and difficulty falling asleep, and I had no drowsiness the next day.I’ve bough a TON of jars since then, whenever I ran out, (from different health food stores as well as amazon). For about a year and a half, they worked wonders for me, I swore I’d always keep a jar with me.Now, here’s my recent experience. For about 7 months and 2 or 3 jars of these, I had been waking up with an awful headache every single morning. No exceptions, EVERY MORNING. The headache would go away as I woke up and was gone by the time I finished my coffee, but it made waking up super unpleasant and difficult. I’d be moody and in pain. Two weeks ago I was on vacation, so I traveled and left these behind because I didn’t plan to go to bed/wake up early. The very first morning without the pills, my headaches were gone... I just thought I was happy or that the friends I stayed with had better mattresses. I get back home, have to go back to work and my early sleep, so I take Power to Sleep... the SAME headache the next day. I will not be buying them anymore. My headaches were a result of taking these pills. I’m taking another melatonin/Valerian supplement instead. Hopefully this isn’t happening to everyone.

This stuff is probably the best combo of herbs for sleep I have tried, and I have tried a LOT of supplements. It works best for me if I take it only when I really need it. There are just some nights where I can't wind down to even think about going to sleep so I end up completely burning myself out in order to fall asleep. If I take this, I find myself to be much more relaxed, and can actually calm my mind in order to drift off to sleep. It usually hits me about 20-30 minutes after I take it and I am able to fall asleep very quickly. The BEST thing about it, is I wake up feeling completely refreshed and ready to fly out of bed and face the day. I also feel like I don't NEED to sleep so much. Normally, I would need at least 8 hours to feel fully rested, but when taking these, I feel that even 6.5 hours is plenty. I have ordered this probably 5 times now. Amazon's pricing is great too. Also, if you are prone to anxiety or even anger/mood issues, this has worked as an amazing chill pill for me. Look into each ingredient, and you will see what great benefits they have. The combo is just perfect. Irwin Natural's is a fabulous company, and they have many other great products that are must haves for me too.
