Excellent product!
I bought 2 Kittens and before they even had a chance to scratch my new sofa and chairs the first thing I bought was scratching posts and these tape products! I bought the 25 and pack and have only used 6-8 of them on the corners of the fabric sofa and chairs which are white. No transference from tape ruining my new furniture and NO cat scratches anywhere!! I’ve waited over 60 days before giving a review as I wanted to make sure this product worked and it does in combination with scratch posts! The reason I bought the 25 pack is the variety of difference sizes, they’re reasonably price and I can use them on other furniture through out my home if necessary plus I wasn’t sure how long they would last. Easier to pay for more verses having to repay for a 2nd order too soon. Next I’m going to use strips on my fabric dining room chairs to keep the cats off since we only use the formal dining room furniture once or twice a year. Buy it! Better to be pro active verse being shocked later after your cats shred your furniture!

Works as advertised
PANTHER ARMOR 20-Pack Cat Scratch Furniture Protectors - Deterrent & Cat Training Tape - Anti Scratch Sticky Tapes - Claw Proof ($23.82)Put these on my couches to deter my kitty from scratching. This worked like a charm. I had a fairly large scratching post by the couches and for some reason she did not use the post and would use the couches to scratch on. These panels were very self explanatory. I only placed them on the corners of my couches as that was the only places she would scratch. While these were in place I had also ordered a larger more sturdy scratching post. I ordered 'SmartCat Ultimate Scratching Post – Gray, Large 32 Inch Tower - Sisal Fiber, Simple Design - For All Cats' (highly recommended). With the new post and the tape together its been great in getting them to scratch the post and not the couches. I have not removed them yet, but they are very sticky. Your clothes and your other animals fur will stick to them when passing by.

Everything sticks to them
These are very very sticky on both sides, and while this is the point to keep the cats from picking, everything sticks to them. For example, my hair, cat hair, dog hair, my clothes, and blankets. These are meant to be a short term solution to train the cats, but they are not appealing to the eye. They stayed put on my couch and worked well though. I think it helped train the cats a little but I got tired of how they looked and took them down. They removed pretty easily, but if you have issues it suggests heating them with a blow dryer before trying to pull them off. They held up well while I had them, but they are thin so I was surprised how long they lasted.

Prevents scratching, but incessant licking.
Wonderfully successful at deterring from scratching. Zero scratch incidents when we use it. However, our cat obsessively licks it, tries to chew it, and will bite pieces off at the edges. We had to remove all the tape due to her obsessive, persistent licking. She would not stop licking until physically removed, and even then, would go right back.Buyers can decide what they're willing to live with. It solves one problem and creates another. 4 stars. Does the job it was bought to do.

Not helpful
It’s hardly sticky while, though it’s easy to use… it really isn’t functional for very long. Also if it even slightly gets lint on it, it will look disgusting and unappealing which i think is counter productive being i think it’s clear for a reason. The only plus side is that it is a decent size and does the job for about 2 days and after that isn’t sticky enough to stay on the surface you originally place it on.

They stick well. They are easy to apply. They are almost invisible. The cats no longer scratch my furniture.

Miracle
Finally something work to stop my cat from scratching my couch

Decent stickiness but too thin
The product works in that once my cat touches it they pull away not liking how it feels. The plastic is razor thin and rips easily so it offers no protection if my cat ignores the discomfort. In my opinion this product would work better if the plastic was much thicker so the claws can't penetrate it so easily. Covering my entire leather sofa in sticky tape isn't practical and looks terrible.

One time buy piece
It is fine to use, I am not sure how much it helps prevent cats from scratching the surface. It collects dust, hair or things like that, and then in 3 weeks the sticky need is gone. While it sticks well on the surface, as you pass by your couch your clothes stick to it as well.

So far, so good...Impressed
Our cat was REALLY attracted to our new couch. She started wanting to scratch the vertical surfaces within 20 min of installing it in the livingroom. We covered the couch in blankets and ordered the double sided stickers. Sticker application was a breeze. Barely noticeable compared to covering our sofa in blankets. We cut several pannels to fit the front of the sofa. We also applied Claw Caps to her front paws in combination with sticky panels all around the new sofa (see photos). Its been 10 days and so far she is not attempting to scratch the couch anymore. At this point we are not sure which of the 2 deterrents is the most effective, but we are happy that so far the combination it working effectively. Luckily she wasn't attracted to scratching the seat cushions so we didn't have to apply stickers there...she still joins us on the couch for TV time. Our plan is to remove stickers after aroud 30 day to see if she has been "trained" to stay away from vertical couch surfaces🤞. Definitely worth a try if you are hesitating to purchase. Hope this review helps someone.

Definitely deters scratching - sticky both sides!
My roommate recently brought two cats into our apartment. We bought this to help train them away from the couch. Anytime they scratch, i put a small piece over that area and redirect them to a scratch post. They absolutely HATE the sticky texture, so they are quite easily deterred. It’s been about 3 weeks, and they are routinely using the scratch post and not even trying to scratch the couch. I would recommend a test strip if your couch is fluffy; if left on too long it might pull out some fluff with it. I find the best way to remove it is to pull out so the plastic stretches as you hold the furniture material down.

Protective sofa helpers
My sofa is a corded fabric & although the protective tape is very sticky, it will still peel off and you can't leave the paper on the outside after sticking one side to the sofa as it will peel off, so both sides of the sticky tape need to be removed & then you have a sticky side out that will adhere to anything that it touches. The tape is a good idea but wish I had kept looking for only sticky on one side!!
