Love these before I bought them cheeco my African grey would lift his food dish out and carry it to the top of his cage and literally through endless to say food everywhereNow he cant do this these dishes are brilliant for big birds the money ill save on food will pay for the two I bought lolAnd he loved his free treat we recived with my order, would really recommend these dishes, I had a smaller one I use as a treat dish and he always loved it .

Outer bracket fragile, but on the whole work well. I have 3 and for the first time my African G has not been able to dismantle his dishes.

If you like me suffer from parrots who seem to love tipping over the food bowls and water bowls at any given opportunity and spend your time cleaning up their mess and refilling the bowls in frustration... SOLUTION HAS BEEN FOUND!!This bowl clips into place at the bottom. Really easily done you just turn it one way and it clips and to unclip you turn the other way. As smart as our feathered friends are, they won't be swiveling the whole bowl around to unclip it.point to note, this bowl is rather large. If you put seeds in there im not sure how the parrots would reach it however, I use this as a water bowl as my lil monsters used to throw the water bowls on the bottom of the cage !! No longer have that problem

My African grey took the bowl to pieces in 5 mins and threw his food on the floor

Seems sturdy but my parrot can usually destroy most things so I'll have to wait and see. Good size

Parrots love it

Earlier versions used to lock at a 90 degree angle - this just swivels to a 45 degree and clicks in. My parrot has managed to disengage it within a few seconds. Retailer has refused a refund as the product 'has been used'. Rubbish product & rubbish customer service.
