Had a stripped hex screw in an optic. This kit fixed it right up & it was removed easily.

Bought this to extract a broken screw. Smallest size was used on the extractor and it broke. They replaced it and I used it again and it also broke.

Used to remove a stubborn and stripped set screw on a faucet handle. Very happy I waited for this product instead of giving in to my frustration and drilling it out!!

When the bit is loaded is crooked, the item has no precision at all. Even with a professional bit holder it wobbles opening holes bigger than they should. It doesn’t work on long screws. Tried it on 1.5 inch screws and the amount of torque needed is much bigger compared to what the little thread can do.

Check on the picture and make your own conclusions, first time trying to use it MANUALLY to prevent the stress which may be caused by electrical powered tools and this was the result,… Now an small problem become worse due this useless tool.

Opened the package upon arrival and see a few bits and bit holder are loose inside the case. In fact one of the bits are inserted into the bit holder. Also this is a 22 piece set but only 21 pieces are in the case. Extractor bit #4 is missing. Is this a manufacturer packing issue or a used product? Either way disappointed.

I bought this extraction kit due to a tiny allen wrench breaking off into an optic screw. I use the smallest drill bit to start the extraction process and within seconds of slow drilling, the drill bit rounded out and was unusable from that point forward. This extraction set is made of poor materials, and will not hold up against tiny optic screws, so I can only imagine trying to extract something bigger. Spend the extra money on a reputable brand.
