I put this on a 13,500 lb winch. It fits perfectly without a bunch of loose fabric. The material used looks like it will protect the winch from rain, dust, and sun. It took 3 different covers, but I found one that works.

this is a nice winch cover and it will keep your winch out of the weather if you live somewhere where you get harsh weather conditions. also if you have a synthetic rope it will help to keep it from dry rotting. it is super easy to put on and is holding up great. we live where we get snow also and it has keep our wince looking clean and in great condition.

Got this to put on a 2013 Rubicon with a Warn 9000 lbs. capacity winch. It was a little tight fitting when trying to go under the mounting plate but it did work as expected. It doesn't fit like a glove like the original cover 10+ years old but it does do the job. Not sure how it works on other brand winches but works fine on Warn brands. Hope this helps other Jeeps out their. Our jeep is stored in a garage when not used so Not being heavy duty was Not a concern. Being more of a dust cover was fine.
