Loved this book
Have read nearly all of Susan's books and although this wasn't one of my favourites it was still a really good book.Thought it was a bit dragged out but I'm so pleased i stuck at it as it turned out really good.

Totally recommend
Since Susannah Cates's husband was sent to prison three years ago, life has been a constant struggle to provide for herself and their teenage daughter. Nothing ever seems to go right and the most she hopes for now is that nothing more will go wrong.Worried by her mother's unhappiness, thirteen-year-old Neve decides to take matters into her own hands. And when Susannah's closest friend Patsy discovers what Neve is up to, she immediately lends her support. As their plans start to unfold they have no way of knowing what kind of fates they are stirring, all they can see is Susannah's excitement, because at last a way seems to be opening up for her to escape her bad luck. However, the spectre of horror is all the time pacing behind the scenes and never, in all Susannah's worst nightmares, could she have imagined her happiness causing so much pain to someone she loves...Really enjoyable read totally recommend

Ok book
I started reading this book and immediately got annoyed with the main character. Priorities in completely the wrong place. Who puts private school fees above paying the mortgage? Surely she must have realised that the peers in the private school would be spending more too. Then to fall for the ex and leave the daughter with him is just crazy. She'd already been dumping her on everyone around when she was supposed to be the first thing in her life. I have read this author's books before and they were ok, but I really find this main character completely lacking in any common sense.

Outstanding
This book tells the story of Susannah Cates and her daughter Neve. Susannah was a reasonably successful actress before becoming pregnant with her daughter and now years on with her ex-husband due for release from prison and struggling for money she unexpectedly meets her childhood sweetheart. When she moves in with him and is the offered the lead part in a new series she thinks she has it all. Her cash situation solved and her love life on the up she thinks it cannot get any better until her daughter starts behaving strangeley. This is incredibly sad but well written and a page turner to say the least! Cannot reccomend highly enough!!!

Really Good!!
This is the third Susan Lewis book I have read and it was my favourite so far.... I did guess the story twist as I have done with her other ones but it didn't make it any less of a good read, also I was keen to finish it to see if I was right!!! which I was! I have another 2 lined up ... she's a brilliant writer.
