It fits my Ontario M3 fine

Would have given it 5 stars, but I can't compare it to anything. There have been complaints about fit. The metal plates at the bottom are stiff. I had to force my M3 in and out quite a few times until it was relatively smooth, still working on it. Like a good leather holster it takes some patients. I watched a video on YouTube of an M3 collector and the marking are accurate for one manufacture of m6s. Overall thumbs up.

it soften up wonderfully. Rub a little dirt on it

It comes a little light and slightly stiff as expected. I put mink oil on it, it soften up wonderfully. Rub a little dirt on it. Period correct for WWII. This sheath will be on my belt at all my reenactments.

Not exactly what I was looking for.

Bottom metal guards are not curved and don't allow for knife blade clearance. Top strap is too long.

Do not buy this sheath

Terrible sheath. When i got it, it was already mussing some of the rivots when it came out of the box, and my m3 trench knofe didnt even fit in it as it should. The sheath was too big and the button snap was way to big for the handle.
