Worked straight away as expected
Used this to interface a wildlife camera to our new 4k TV. Obviously the camera isn't 4k but it was easy to plug it up and can even be powered by USB sockets on the back of the TV. Picture quality isn't brilliant but that's down to the camera, not this unit.

Works for a Nintendo Wii
I bought this as I'm about to upgrade my TV and the new one doesn't support the Wii video connections (composite RCA). When I first set it up the screen was awful, flickering constantly. Reading the reviews, one mentioned having to change the TV settings on the Wii. Changing the TV Type to 50Hz (576i), under the Wii settings menu (bottom left of home screen) worked a treat for me. I thought it might be worth reiterating that for anyone else looking for this solution.I haven't used the product for long so can't comment on its longevity.

Used for the Wii
Perfect, works amazingly well all that’s needed is to change the settings to 50hz instead of the usual 60hz that it’s on, other than that it works well.

Not sure on this one.
Bought to feed a vhs video into a TV and improve the quality of the picture as they suffer issues with new TVs.I have connected a Betamax and a VHS video to a newish TV. The Beta was planned to go into the Aux sockets and the VHS into a scart adapter. This item was planned to fit into the VHS wiring to try to get the quality up to the Betamax standard (Sony SL-C9) using connection via scart adaptor with a three piece wire taking the feed from the deck and another scart adapter (cannot stand the scart leads) but the picture would not stay still - kept flicking / rolling sideways. I even tried with the Betamax but it was the same. Tried feeding into the Aux connection and it was the same. Both VCRs are now wired up and work perfectly well and I am using this to feed in the PS2. It works in that I get a picture but cannot see any improvement which I think I should as the TV is PS3 quality (PS3 now goes into the main smart TV).In truth I do not if this works but the picture is stable on the PS2 so perhaps it is not compatable with videos although I cannot see why or what difference it would be to a DVD signal wise. Cannot give 5 stars due to the problem I have had but likewise cannot give 1 or 2 stars as the issues were with video input and the PS2 transmits OK.

Works, but not for wide screen
The unit is very tidy and compact and gives an acceptable picture but does not have the facility to run wide screen, unlike others that are available for a similar price. Make sure you can live with the limitations before you buy.
