Above average drop protection with functional issues.
Pros:The protection is really above average in every side of the phone. Especially the camera. The build quality is also stellar and finally it is pretty grippy, especially the TPU portion. The camera cover does lock if fully opened. The buttons are very responsive and has a generous lip height around the screen even with a glass protector.ConsThe camera lens cover design should really be designed to be swinged instead of sliding. This design is potentially more reliable (same as construction windows) but also prevent potential lens scratches. Even more as the clearance from the lenses is pretty low. In a 2 week period test, I noticed a sliding feel degradation. The sliding mechanism also becomes a chore to open and close. Its pretty stiff to open, lock and close. Finally, the usb port cover is very stiff to the point that I notice slight bending on USB cables. While I don’t know the phone port bending forces tolerance, it would be much better if the case wouldn’t let the possibility of damage happen. Not only that but the port cover has a flap that introduces inside and touches the usb middle pin that may also exert additional pressure that I find concerning. More tolerance should be designed on this part or try to make the lock on the perimeter of the port like Otterbox.Functionaly, the port cover stiffness also makes charging a hassle to open and close.Recommendation:If prioritizing functionality, buy the clear colored case as it will let the flashlight work without opening.

Phone Case is not chunky. seems to offer good protection, and I am liking the option to cover my lens.it is cumbersome if you want to snap a quick photo, but I am using for traveling and would rather have the extra protectionWrist strap has also been nice for travel and touring .

Almost great.
I bought this phone case because I like the camera cover concept. However, it could use two improvements. First, the door is hard to snap into the detent that keeps it open. Maybe it will get easier with time, but the ribs on the door are too smooth and shallow, and you can't grab them with your fingernails. The plastic is hard and they slide right over. The manufacturer needs draft on the edges of those ribs, but it should be as close to 0° draft as possible with sharper edges. I took a utility knife and scratched grooves along the ribs. 2nd thing is that the cover also covers the light, so if you need to use the flashlight, you need to open it up. I drilled a 5/16" hole in mine to expose the light. It still protects the lenses adequately and doesn't seem to limit the 'flood' light too much. The cover seems good, but for the price, I expected the fit and finish to be a bit better. I suppose we're paying for the drop protection, primarily. It's more utilitarian than fashion.
