I purchased this to keep some personal items that belonged to my mother. The top is inscribed with her name. I had her birth date and date of death inscribed on the inside of the lid. The box is plain, the wood is thin and rough, and a clasp closes the lid. The size is similar to a small cigar box. It could be sanded and painted, but I like it plain.

Beautiful keepsake box. Good quality engraving. The hinges on the lid allow the lid to over-open and seem to stress the hinges. My husband installed a lid chain which fixed that problem. The interior of the box smelled of the woods stain but 2 days with a bounce dryer sheet in it cured that. I also put in a adhesive backed felt liner which was a nice improvement.

These boxes are so beautiful! The seller is careful to verify customization. Cannot wait to give as a gift!

Nice gift and easy to personalize. I like that you can write anything on the inside. Wished the larger were a little less costly but worth it for a gift for sure. I enjoyed giving these to my grandkids this year. Well done-mad and well done. Shipping may be delayed on some if not ordered early enough so be cognizant of that. Some came early some came late. I almost took a star off for the lateness of two of them.

It is a beautiful box. Arrived sooner than expected. They communicated promptly and cared that the memorial box was as special as my memories!

Deception with dimensions by using "cm" instead of USA measurements in "in" and I ended up paying nearly $50 bucks for a miniature box that I cannot use!!! AND SINCE I CANNOT RETURN BECAUSE I HAD IT SPECIALLY MADE, I AM TELLING EVERYONE DO NOT PURCHASE, IT IS ADVERTISED AS AN ECONOMICAL PRICE, BUT MANY OTHER CHARGES ACCRU AND THEN YOU ARE PAYING SUCH A HIGH PRICE FOR A MINI BOX, THAT I CANNOT USE TO STORE MY LOVED ONES ITEMS INTO!!!
