What are they made of? How absorbant are they with a sweaty glass

They are plastic - feel like vinyl. They are not absorbent other than the groves keep too much of the water from overflowing.

What songs are on the lables? Are they hits?

The songs are parodies of real songs revolving around the purpose of the coasters. So far I have only figured out two: Rest On Me is Lean On Me by Bill Withers and Tea Time (Don't Spill This) is Hammer Time (Can't Touch This) by MC Hammer.

do they fit in car cup holders?

I'm going to say no, they were a gift but as I recall larger than a car coaster and they are not absorbent so they really would not be ideal. Hope it helps. They are really cute though.
