What a pleasure this 30 yr old movie is to return to. Tom Hanks recently said it was the hardest work he ever did in a movie but Hooch was brilliant. This film makes me smile every time - what a great dog and what training

Fabulous film
I love Turner and Hooch - a comedic detective, with definite Asperger tendencies and OCD facets to his character - who is brought back to real life by a dog who is determined that the detective will learn to tolerate and love him, since that is what he needs, and to find justice for the murderer of his owner and friend. It is hysterical in places in the relationship between detective and dog, and is filled with poignancy in places and a developing romance throughout, with police chase excitement and an unexpected ending. A must watch for Tom Hank fans, and all dog lovers.

Great film tear jerker if you have a dog you'll understand
Love the film have watched in on t.v and video thought it was worth buying on DVDs seeing as vhs went years ago , where does time go ? Anyway brilliant film came really quickly in excellent condition loved it heart wrenching ,heartwarming and utterly rewatchable
