Good product extremely usual for appliqué patchwork as you can reposition until you find the correct position before finally ironing into place, plus edge stitching no problem as there is no fraying of the appliqué

Very impressed, although it took me a while to get used to it.In the past I’ve only used the iron on webbing, that is iron on to the fabric paper backed bonding type.What is excellent about light steam is that it doesn’t have to be secured with an iron at the beginning of the project, It’s a bit like fuzzy felt and can be moved around or taken away, and even holds on even when it’s rolled up or carried. Then when all is happy with the design created can be ironed and secure into place.

I am amazed at this product. Very new to the world of appliqué, and wanted to personalise using another fabric. After some research on how to do this (easiest method around - wasn’t sure pins would work whilst trying to sew), came across this.It is so easy to use I am flabbergasted (and also don’t feel so inexperienced when I see wonderful pieces of appliqué work).It’s also great to see that you don’t need to sew around after ironing in place.Only thing I can’t seem to find is what the material/s are used to make this (I think it’s important in case of allergies etc).

I love this fusable webbing. In my opinion it is the best on the market. Applique pieces can be temporarily placed before the decision to iron it on for a permanent position has to be made.

Use this for doing applique on quilts - super to be able to reposition the pieces until the placement is as you want it. Does not leave residue on needle. Have taken one star off for the way it was packed - it should NOT be folded in the package.

I really like Steam a Seam and usually buy it by the metre The Warm Company have been having problems sourcing a new paper supplier and it is difficult to get at the moment so I was pleased to be able to buy some. It was delivered in a few days, so well pleased.

I am new to applique techniques and bought this to experiment. I have managed to use it on tiny fiddly little pieces with success. I used a hot iron (no steam) to make it stay in place (not in the instructions) and have found that I was able to remove the piece which I wasn't happy with. It certainly holds it well and becomes permanent when steam is used. I would buy this product again.

I use the steam a seam products all the time as i do a lot of appliqué - its excellent!

This works SO well for fusing smaller fabric pieces onto larger pieces. My only complaint is the price point, if you are doing larger or a lot projects. Otherwise works SO well. Quality is super high!
