It’s a 1.0 but it’s not oozing ink. I like the shape of the tip, it stays out of the way so you can see what you’re doing. Writing feels good, very smooth. I will definitely be buying more.

Sooo I'm a pen snob and I'm going into a new profession where I need a 2in1 ink pen. My classmates and I finessed a red BIC on the other side of a black BIC. As you can imagine, for a pen snob, that just won't do. I Love the way this pen writes. It'll be perfect. I just imagine the ink may not last very long but we'll cross the bridge when we get there. I also wish that I could buy 10 BLACK/RED pens seeing that those are the colors I need, but I get more BLACK/BLUE (6) than BLACK/RED (4). But these will do until/unless I find something better.

The pen is double sided, meaning there is a pen at both ends, but as such, the ink wells are very small. If you are using this for school or for notes, it would run out pretty fast. The barrel where you hold it has very fine rings for grip but they can be uncomfortable. If you really need a pen with ink options, it does help you there, but that was all I really liked about these pens. They didn't write as smooth as I would have liked either.

So I love me a good pen. The art of writing is not lost on me, and I try out different ones for different jobs. This type of pen would be great for work - where you can add your notes, underline in different colors, etc.Problem is, while some of the pens worked great - others came dry, and would dry up even after writing.The only consistent color was black, and that sort of defeats the purpose of these pens. If both colors worked all of the time then this would be a fantastic deal. But since they do not, there are much better deals out there for a black only pen.

It feels like the quality control of these pens really isn't up to standard. Some of them write just fine, they feel great to use, and other ones take forever to get ink to the tip and are inconsistent.
