Zero privacy protection. VERY UNHAPPY.
Please read the update below the original review. This is supposed to be a privacy screen protector. I had one from Zagg on my old phone and loved it. It blocked the view of “shoulder peepers” extremely well. I couldn’t find a Zagg replacement for it when I bought my new phone (they hadn’t been released yet), so I went with a cheap Chinese knockoff. It was okayyy, but not nearly as good as my Zagg had been. So when I saw this Zagg privacy screen protector for my new phone on Amazon, and it was on sale, I bought it. I was giddy with excitement waiting for its arrival. When it arrived I asked my son (who works at a retail cell phone carrier store) to install it for me to be sure I didn’t get any bubbles. I held the phone up and turned it this way and that, rotated it and for the life of me I couldn’t find a spot anywhere on the screen where it protected my privacy. There was an ever so slight dimming from the extreme sides, but not enough to keep prying eyes from reading what’s on it, and there is zero dimming from top or bottom or diagonally. Privacy is not at all protected with this screen protector. As a plain screen protector, I’m sure it will work to physically protect the screen. But it will not protect even the slightest bit of privacy. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed. Calling this a privacy screen protector is a misnomer. I expected much better from Zagg. I would have been better off keeping the cheap Chinese knockoff. As bad as it was, it was better than this Zagg. UPDATE: So now I’ve had this for 3 months. The screen protector cracked and I went online to make a claim on the warranty. It turns out that the “free” replacement is not free at all unless I downgrade to a lesser model. If I want the exact same model, my “free” replacement will cost $15. But for $20 I can replace it for the one I thought I was purchasing to begin with that supposedly has 360 privacy. On top of that they also charge tax and $10 shipping. So my “free” warranty replacement will cost over $31 total. SMH This is definitely not the quality and experience that I had come to know from my previous Zagg purchases. If this one doesn’t work properly, and protect the screen, I will go back to the cheap Chinese knockoffs on Amazon with free shipping. I could buy 10 of those for what this is costing me. And so far, the cheap Chinese version had much better privacy protection. Zagg needs to up its game. It’s lost WAY too much ground already. When you’re the most expensive product on the market people expect more. Furthermore, to eliminate customer confusion, various levels of privacy protection should be clearly labeled and described: light privacy protection, moderate privacy protection, and full privacy protection, with clear descriptions of each. I thought I was purchasing full privacy protection, when it turns out that it was “protecting” only from the sides (albeit extremely poorly). But for warranty replacement, only the “lite” version is “free”?! No.

Solid Protection & Real Privacy — Totally Worth It!
recently upgraded to the Glass Elite Privacy Screen Protector for my iPhone 15 Plus, and I’m honestly impressed with how premium it feels. The installation was surprisingly easy — the alignment tray helped the protector fall perfectly into place with no bubbles at all. What I love the most is the 2-way privacy filter. When I’m texting, scrolling, or checking my banking app, people sitting next to me can’t see anything. The screen looks bright and clear to me, but it turns dark from side angles, which gives me real peace of mind. The protector itself feels extremely strong. The edges are reinforced, and I can tell the glass is thicker and tougher than regular protectors. I’ve already dropped my phone twice on tile floors, and the screen is still perfect — not even a scratch. It also resists fingerprints really well, which keeps the display clean without constant wiping.

very fragile.
I raved and was so confident in this product. Perhaps a streak of bad luck with screen protectors. Although, in my defense the last three were literally falls from my vent phone mount to the center shift area. I retracted my endorsement. However, the seller is indeed very accommodating and I stars remain for this alone - the customer service.

Not a Privacy Screen at all
I think what I'm seeing in these reviews are missing the point of this screen protector. It's supposed to be an "Elite Privacy" screen protector. Privacy. This is in no way a privacy screen protector. As you can see by my screen shot, anyone can view your entire screen very clearly at any angle greater than 16%. Any view less than 16% angle, it gets a little darker. The screen can not be seen if it is viewed at less than 7% angle. The screen is Not obscured at all if viewed from the front or from behind. Full screen view with no privacy at all. I have a friend purchased a set of 2 privacy screen protectors that also came with camera lens protectors for less than $20.( Pehael [2+2 Pack) I have seen those on her iPhone and they work fantastic. Basically, if you are not looking directly down at the screen, it can NOT be viewed by someone looking at your screen from any angle. As Apple have said in their literature, "A strong titanium band. The toughest back glass in a smartphone. And a Ceramic Shield front that’s even tougher than any smartphone glass." So if you have a good case for your iPhone and Apple Care, you don't really need to purchase a screen protector, unless you want Privacy and purchase a "Privacy" screen protector. I paid more than double for my Zagg Elite Privacy Protect, but no privacy. I could have purchased a non privacy screen protector for less. But I expected privacy when I made this purchase. NOT. Installation was great. No problems at all. Any bubbles were completely gone after about 8 hours. They just disappeared. Smucges are almost non existent. I think this will make a great NON privacy screen protector for someone looking for a screen protector. I think the use of the word "privacy" is extremely misleading and I would like to return this for a refund. I will purchase a real "Privacy" screen protector now.

It works
Takes quite an angle for no one to see your screen depending kn brightness. Wish these gave off a more natural red light dimming feeling

The quality is top notch. Dropped this multiple times without any issue, installation was very quick and easy, and routinely my colleagues have asked me why I “pretend” to be on my phone while they walk by me because to them, the screen is black. Highly recommend.

Disappointing Quality for the Price This product does not live up to hype or expectations. There are noticeable light leaks from the sides, and despite careful handling, it has already shattered. The claim of being “5x stronger” seems misleading. Overall, it doesn’t seem fit for purpose and is not worth the cost.
