Absolutely brilliant!

I was what I expected

Have been debating a diffuser for a while.Whilst I don't blow dry my hair very often as I try to air dry & make the most of my natural waves, there is sometimes no choice when you are in a rush.I have an old Revlon which is about 25 years old but it works perfectly, has a retractable cord & 1600W power so there really is no need to replace it when I use it so rarely.I've looked at various new hairdryers with a diffuser included but just don't see the need to fork out on something I'll only use every couple of months, so decided to test out this universal diffuser.The diffuser is simple to attach as it twists open then clamps onto the nozzle. It's not super tight but it does stay on the nozzle effectively.It is lightweight so doesn't make the hairdryer any heavier or more difficult to use.I wouldn't call it useful for travelling as it is large so although it doesn't add weight, it certainly impacts on the space in your luggage.The air is distributed well & the size allows you to drop your hair into the diffuser.It does get warm so make sure you use the lowest heat possible.All in all it's a pretty good addition & comparatively priced against other diffusers.

This works very well in terms of making it much quicker to dry my hair, though I don't find it very helpful for maintaining curls (maybe because my hair is relatively short...?), but you can definitely tell it's not the highest quality. The fit on the hairdryer is decent but not entirely stable, and it's hard to get the dryer in without it being a bit wonky. I also find that it gets hot EXTREMELY quickly (and I always use the coldest setting on my dryer!) which would be worrying if I had to use it for more than a couple mins.

Was shocked, bemused and then annoyed to see just how disproportionately big this diffuser is. My hair dryer is already fairly large (photo with 20cm-long hand for scale), but this diffuser completes swallows it up. Not only does it look hilariously disproportionate (I can only imagine the stares I would get from people for using it), but it’s also going to be completely impractical for any kind of travel, especially in the era of handluggage-only flight tickets. Going to directly send it back to seller. Yes, if you very carefully read the product page, you might just about clean how ridiculously big this product is. But I would argue they have deliberately downplayed this and are misleading customers into thinking they’re buying a nifty little (!) adapter.Only reason this gets a second star is that it DOES turn out to be very adaptable in terms of nozzle sizes.

This diffuser is amazing, I'm blown away. It's got this huge surface area that's great for my giant mass of curls. It also diffuses the heat and airflow of just about any dryer really well. It's got a nice defined bowl shape that is perfect for containing lots of curly hair. I am very satisfied with this diffuser.The adjustable section that fits it to the dryer is easy to operate and locks on quite well once it's situated right, I've only had this attachment come off once and that was after it got tangled in the cable and pulled off by accident. It doesn't seem to wiggle or budge unless you try to move it, it's very stable while in use. The diffuser overall is very well made, quite sturdy and solid, it doesn't feel like I could break it by dropping it or something for sure.My only issue is the size, it's quite a bit bigger than I expected from the images. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have a jumbo diffuser than the little ones that come with some hair dryers, but it's just a little hard to take anywhere or travel with as it takes up a lot of space in a bag. The size overall is a positive in my opinion as it means it's more effective as a diffuser and honestly easier to use, I typically pick this universal diffuser over ones made for individual dryers specifically because it's nice and large. However, keep in mind that it's not the best model for travel, and it's not the most lightweight thing in the world either. It's not heavy per say but it isn't light either. It pains me to give something so effective and well-built anything other than 5 stars but my rating for travel is honest.Overall, I would highly recommend this diffuser attachment as I am personally very impressed by it. It's highly effective and honestly the best I've used, I'd say it's for sure worth the price. However, keep in mind this is not travel sized before you buy.

Easy to use and instal. Quite happy with this

Finally a diffuser that fits! Having tried a couple of 'universal fits all' diffusers with no joy, the fact that this one does fit is great! ( I have an ancient Babyliss pro) The diffuser is big, great for helping define your curls and so easy to use, just twist the top collar and put on. There are basic instructions on the side of the box, and as a lovely touch, it came with a little shampoo brush that my children like to use. If you're tight on luggage space then this isn't the one to pack, as mentioned its a big diffuser, but it is lightweight as it's plastic. Seems durable so far, and I'm happy with it, my hair has less frizz and getting ready after a shower now takes less time - winner!
