Great insights.
A true life and acurate insight into the drugs culture of Blyth and problems that it brings to the kind and friendly people that live there. Although the author does not mention it, credit to the Police officers that deal with this on our behalf. Well done Guys and Girls.

Quite good
This was very good apart from about the first half of the book being more about his early life in the police than his undercover work, which came later. The undercover bit was clearly described, but he tells us what happens rather than giving a huge amount of context. It's rather sad, because this guy ended up quite damaged by the work he did for our police force :(

Fantastically captures life in the Police.
Having been in "The Job" and in the same force at the same time as David, I commend him for this incredible work. He captures precisely the attitudes and total lack of care practiced by senior managers in the force at that time. His no holds barred story is both dark and frightening, but I can assure any potential reader it is a fantastic story of life as a UC only a few years ago. Thankfully more effort is given to counselling of officers now, but then we told simply "grow a pair and get on with it." Cracking read.
