I opened the the lid and put both parts in the freezer overnight. I packed the ice cream in the morning and put it in an insulated bag for transporting. 4 hours later it was still as hard as when I packed it. Opens a whole new world for having ice cream in places not usually available, like the beach.

Decided for an end of summer day trip to hit the road for some Wisconsin custard. The custard is so good we bought 2 pints. One we place in this and one in a cooled with ice packs. The result? I need to buy another one of these as it did keep it cool and non-melting, whereas the cooler gave us closer to custard soup.

My daughter got the S'well Stainless Steel Ice Cream Chiller for my husband’s birthday, and it has been such a hit! He loves ice cream and now uses this chiller every single day. It keeps his dessert cold the whole time, no melting mess. A great find and a fun gift idea for any ice cream lover!

This had been a hit on our boat with the kids.We keep it in the ice coolerI seldom write reviews but this may help some what may complain ice cream melts, most bad reviews is due to using cheap ice cream, fat has a role in the melting process. Wall mart brand melted quick, premium Brands were soft after 3 hours and Ben and Jerry’s has been the winner 4 hours later we still have a hard solid ice cream that is hard to get out with a plastic spoon and lasted the whole day in the water our brand of ice cream to go with this. We are even getting a second one.

Very sturdy and durable. I used for ice cream and oatmeal and kept the temperature well for both items.

This is a fantastic item for those that like eating their ice cream right out of the pint container. Keeps your ice cream hard & your hands warm. Really easy to hand wash. I'm a pink lover so the color is just right. Totally worth the money.

Would a star deduction for my increased Häagen-Dazs ice cream consumption 🤷‍♂️ I’d more say so that’s the reason for this item. Anyway I’m about to snag a pic of what a half eaten 14oz from 4+ hours ago looks like right now 🔥🤙Yes it’s a 5 star item. Happy to buy again at dollars of 3 and Zero or less 🤙Kinda want another to have on hand for when ‘pints’ are on saleP.S. I’d add after taking and eating a few spoon fulls I’d say a half empty container will become softer faster!
