These ginger chews are so good that I had to give the last 1/4 of the bag(s) away because I couldn't be trusted with them anymore! They're so ginger-y and are just the right amount of chewy that I couldn't stop eating them. Time for bed? Grab a handful of these Ginger Gummies to chew on during nighttime Netflix time. Time to run some errands? Grab two handfuls, one for the way there, one for the way back (except there would never be any left by the time I drove back)I usually get my ginger chews at Trader Joes but they don't always have them. The Gin Gins brand is actually better than TJs as they chews are larger, chewier, and don't get stuck on your teeth as much.I love ginger in any form and of course candy is my favorite. They smell lilke ginger, taste like ginger, have just the right amount of heat and definitely calm the tummy.Why did I give the last bit of the bag away? Because I kept waking up with a bedfull of GinGins Gummies wrappers (and regular GinGins wrappers!)

Love these ginger chews - they are a lifesaver! I suffer from motion sickness because my husband drives like a NASCAR driver. I’ve tried everything but nothing worked as well as these. The ginger flavor is potent enough to quell nausea without being too spicy. You can definitely taste the spicy ginger. They have a pleasant chewiness – not too hard but be careful if you have dental work because they are sticky – and the flavor lasts a surprisingly long time. Best of all, they're incredibly affordable compared to other nausea remedies. I keep a bag in my purse, car, and travel bag at all times. If you're looking for a tasty and effective way to combat nausea, look no further! Highly recommend!

I like ginger and love the ginger flavor in this candy. Since ginger helps with nausea it's a big help.

THESE ARE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE GINGER CANDIES, BUT I must say that I LOVE all the GINGER CANDY by the Ginger People! I am WILD about these! They are HOT, until you keep eating them and then NONE Of their SUPER STRENGTH GINGER Candies are THAT Hot! Some are very soft, some are harder and All are CHEWY and Have the Most Wonderful GINGER Flavor! I LOVE these candies! They really are fabulous! I love the CHEW and I also Love that They Are Hot at first, but as they are COMPLETELY IRRESISTIBLE, you adjust to the heat and IT IS possible to eat one right after another and have the heat not even affect you. Wait a little time and they are HOT again! I have found that you can adjust to the HEAT in ALL the Ginger Candy Made by The Ginger People. I had a heart attack over one large package of SUPER HOT Ginger People Candy, I actually THOUGHT it was so HOT I would never be able to eat any, but I kept trying them and after I ate a few, they no longer were too hot to eat, so my experience is that you adjust to the heat & if you stop eating them, they can be too hot again! BUT this particular type is SO absolutely delicious, right from the very beginning, that you just keep wanting more and more despite being HOT! I love that they are all chewy, eventually. Some were immediately soft and chewy and Most were hard like a hard candy but without the glass-like smoothness, you bite them and they are hard enought that you feel no sticking feeling to your teeth but eventually even the hard ones became chewy, over time as you begin eating them! So, you get the best of both worlds, some soft & rather quickly you feel the stickiness as you bite at them and then they turn soft & chewy and the others like hard candy but eventually they soften & they, too, become chewy. But you experience both the hard and the soft candyI Love that they only have 10 Calories! How many candies have ONLY 10 calories? NOT too many! THESE ARE GOOD FOR YOU, TOO! Ginger has lots of benefits and thes have the Most ginger and the taste is the MOST delicious! I highly recommend these longer lasting chewy FABULOUSLY DELICIOUS GINGER CANDIES!! These are MY FAVORITE!!!

I hated to pay the price for these, around $15 for a pound. I'm pretty frugal and shop at dollar stores, so this is really expensive stuff to me. But after reading many reviews I came to the conclusion that this is the best product when considering all categories : quantity, quality and rating.I'm not disappointed in the product, just the price. It seems the whole country is just going for the big grab and inflating price to whatever the market will bear. Every business wants maximum profits and they all have their "justifications".But having gotten that little rant out of my system, I'll say that I like these double strength hard candies. They seem like a bit of a creeper to me. That is, they start out NOT tasting very gingery...but the longer you suck on it, the more the ginger taste comes through. By the end you've got a pretty good "tingle" going on. I think they actually do give the stomach a more settled feeling...unless that's just placebo. But even if is, it works for me.I wish they were just a little bigger so they'd last longer... they're only about the size of the nail of my ring finger and perhaps ¼" thick. I tend to eat two at a time.Being a lover of fiery hot sauces, I can take a lot of burn, so I will probably try the super strength next time (if I can justify the cost.)It's a good product...I recommend it to whoever doesn't think $15 for a pound of hard candy is a bit ridiculous.

It is kind of caramel texture(actually Glucose syrup) and a bit of ginger spice, the spice can catch you off guard but not overly spicy. Apple was my favorite but the original was also good. The powder other reviewers complain is mold (NOT mold) is actually an anti caking agent, a finely ground cane sugar. The little packages are kind of hard to open, the value of 2 packs is a bit pricy but kind of worth it. Over all tasty little treats with a little kick to them.
