My wife and I had been trying to figure out how we could block off the wide opening between two rooms in out house. There were no doors and flipping a portable table sideways on the floor was unsafe and looked horrible.We bought one of these gates to put across the opening and were pleasantly surprised. The gate and it's fasteners are strong and reliable. The gate needs to be pulled tight but we had no problem doing so. The gate came with all the fasteners needed and was simple to install.Thanks for a great solution to our situation!

If the ground attachments are used, the gate is not retractable. The attachments are affixed to the ground with the adhesive side and to the gate with zip ties. If you want to retract the gate, you would have to rip out the zip ties every time. Extremely inconvenient.

Easy to install and covered a large area that we were having difficulty blocking the dog out of. I’d recommend, it’s much better than a metal gate we had before.

I install mine on December two months later got bad

First week we had it, material ripped a hole. Luckily it’s still useful. Height is great and can see through it. Perfect for the dog in the garage

The usual 24" pet barriers didn't work for us; our dog and our cats were able to easily jump over them. This one is just tall enough that it keeps them out of rooms we don't want them in. When our energetic, 40 lb. border collie first saw this one, she tried jumping it but literally bounced back from it (to guilty LOLs from us!). She never tried it again.The floor attachments aren't described much in this Amazon listing - they look like suction cups but in fact they have adhesive that sticks them to the floor. (I expect this would not work on carpet.) The instructions don't tell you this but the adhesive peel-off is literally invisible - you may think it's not there, but you need to fuss the edge with your fingernail to peel it off.The net ties to the floor attachments with standard zip ties, but the ones supplied are the thinnest possible. Our handyman substituted thicker ones.

We have three dogs with one of them a trouble maker. We have to keep the Pug away from our Italian Greyhounds. We purchased this Mesh Gate to keep them separated. I really like the width, height and especially the opaque mesh – the dogs can’t see each other. It also helps keep the young grandkids, when visiting, in their play area and not chasing the dogs. So far it’s holding up well.
