Absolute junk
I’m a good wrench turner. Read reviews, looked this product over and compared to several others, decided on this one. At first glance in hand of product, looks to be made of hardened steel, which you need for tie rods and cylinders. Read directions and first red flag was to use 9mm wrench to tighten nuts. The u bolt itself is bigger than 9mm. Takes a 17mm to fit nuts. Potential type o, no big deal. Ran nuts up by hand, put 17mm wrench on and felt the dreaded slip. Stripped the threads on the bolt and hadn’t gotten to snug yet. Go to other side and I guess I’m Superman because just running that nut up by hand boogered those threads and stripped them clear to the tip trying to get the nut off. Didn’t even bother with the other clamp, unless you have tge inner tie rod off not very sure how you’d ever get it on. Thank goodness for air hammers and pipe style vice grips.

works well
Made it easier to remove the tie rods than the pipe wrench I had been using. That said, this isn't really a tool you 'need' but it is nice to have.

Tie rod tools
Look like they will work fine. I have not used them yet.

Doesn't last long
Tried this out for the first time and glad I had room to work. The blue clamp isn't bad and works as advertised. The black u-bolt is useless. Stripped out before I could get it tight. Swapped out the u-bolt for a hardend steel one and it works like a charm.

Works as advertised
These tools can help make replacing tie rods much easier. I'm not a fan of beating and clawing on old parts and would always rather use a tool that's made for the job. These will help you do that without breaking the bank and your knuckles. Highly recommended!

Look solid
Got it today so can't tell much about it. Looks solid, seems to be working properly so i guess time will tell.
