Much better than its cheaper counterparts
There's a lot to like about this gizmo compared to the cheaper versions. First off it has left and right laser beams, which can be set for left, right, or both. It also has magnets on all 4 sides (actually the corners) so you can attach it in any orientation, which makes the laser beams even more useful. The laser beams provide a distinct leveling line on drywall, fine for inside but not potent enough for outside. I no longer do any woodworking, but would certainly like to have had this for setting various saw angles on my radial arm saw, since my mechanical angle measure could not be zeroed. As you change the angle the readout continuously changes. Another plus is its use of a rechargeable battery with a standard USB-C charge port (which means most cell phone chargers will recharge it). I don't know how long a charge will last, but there is a battery charge indicator on the display. The display is easy to read and inverts automatically once you pass 90 degrees. The read out options are degrees or percent. A thin aluminum band has been pressed in around the perimeter, providing a better surface than plastic alone would provide. Finally, the price point is only about $10 more than the cheaper versions that don't have the integrated battery, laser beams, 4 sided magnets, or metal band. I recommend it as being the more versatile and durable choice. I should note that the electronic technology used is a solid state accelerometer (which senses the acceleration towards the gravitational center of the Earth that counters the centripetal force of Earth's rotation to keep us on the planet). The same technology is added to cell phones (since it's so cheap). Directions are provided for recalibrating the sensor if it is off by more than 0.2 degrees, but I haven't found it necessary (yet). Since accuracy is plus or minus 0.2 degrees, don't expect perfectly level to necessarily read 0 degrees. That would require more expensive technology than use of an accelerometer. In any case, it's still going to be more accurate than the eyeball method using a bubble level.

Nice
I love mine. It works well and seems accurate

Very handy too to have around the home.
This is a great tool instead of using a bulky level or for a longer distance than a level can provide. The laser works great and is bright. The level is crazy accurate.

Bery valuable tool to own
Only had a chance to use twice so far but makes me hsppy when wantingvto know if flat or angle and have immediate confirmation! Gives me peace of mind Im foing things right!

Then, it works accurately.
And it's very accurate and in the few days that I have it, it already paid for itself. Two or three times very happy.I got it.The beam is very helpful

Very Useful
I have found many uses for this angle finder, from measuring front end alignment on my truck, to table saw blade angle, to headlight adjustment (laser), to cabinet leveling, etc. I'm sure I'll find even more uses in the future. The only con is the display-it is hard to read in sunlight-no biggie. Like the magnets on several sides and the zero function. Great tool !

Useless for precision work — constantly loses zero
I bought this angle finder specifically for driveline setup work where tenths of a degree actually matter. Unfortunately, this thing cannot hold a consistent zero. I would zero it on the same reference surface, move it, place it back down, and get different readings. I was seeing differences of several tenths of a degree depending on when I checked it. At one point I was getting completely inconsistent measurements along the same rigid driveshaft, which finally made me realize the tool itself was the problem. That sent me chasing driveline angles and adjustments that weren’t actually there. I replaced it with a better-quality angle finder and immediately started getting stable, repeatable measurements. For rough household work, maybe it’s fine. For automotive driveline angles, fabrication, alignment, or anything where accuracy and repeatability matter, I would not trust it. Buy the Klein tool version instead.
