Used in an emergency and they are priceless
I have unfortunately had to use these blankets but can say from experience, they will save your life. An overnight hiking trip hit us with a cold spell dropping temperatures to 35° F with 20mph winds in the middle of summer in Nevada. None of us were equipped for those temperatures and we used these to insulate our jackets while we waited for the sun to rise. They are durable and can be fashioned/tied to suit your needs. We did fine with our light windbreakers and these blankets in 35°. I won't go on a hiking trip without these, no matter what the forecast says.

Portable, durable and affordable
These were perfect for our recent festival in Vegas. It can get cold at night and these were small enough to fit in my fany pack but large enough to cover 2 people when needed. Very warm and durable. As advertised

I use these for tent footprints for my backpacking tent. They are a decent size and after a few uses, I can toss them. They do the job of keeping my tent clean and providing a moisture barrier, maybe even a bit of warmth.

Slick packaging.
I'm assuming it will work as intended. It's too neatly folded for me to take it all the way out. Had a cool little case, 2 individual bags with clips for each of those as well. Split them between car and backpack and gave the zipper case to the kid. He was stoked. Neat little thing that could easily save your life someday. I got the orange for visibility.

Nicely packaged, hope we never need them.
Haven't used, but made up safety packs with a fleece blanket and one of these emergency blankets, gloves, a stocking cap, and 3 bottles of water for my son(for auto and winter). Made a simular kit for my husband(fleece and emergency blanket included and myself . I purchased zippered clear plastic storage bags for the kits. These are sturdier blankets than the plain mylar, however I suspect they are a one time use item. Well worth if they work when you need them to.
