The tools are quite good but what am I supposed to use them on. There wasn't 1 packet of seeds never mind 5 pkts.

This bonsai tree kit is perfect, if like me, you are looking to dive into the world of bonsai.The kit includes five types of bonsai tree seeds, an 8-piece bonsai tool kit, two nutrient-rich Jiffy peat discs, five auto-irrigation plant pots, a Bonsai Plant pot, five plant markers, leaf pruners, and a instruction booklet.The instructions are clear but a bit basic (probably find some better info on youtube). The variety of seeds allows you to experiment and find your favourite bonsai tree.I can't wait to see what grows!

This is a fabulous little bonsai growing kit but it requires a great deal of patience and may not even produce results.You get everything you need in this kit to germinate and grow at least one bonsai tree. There are five packets of bonsai seeds and five compact self-watering plots with plastic lids, as well as soil, plant markers, tools and a display pot.It’s fun to plant seeds and watch them grow but you do need a lot of patience to grow bonsai as they take years to grow from seed. This kit is well worth trying as it’s not expensive (£16.99 at the time of review) and it has the potential to produce stunning results.

Firstly, the kit comes fully stocked with everything you require (other than rainwater) and even some extra additional kit.I followed the comprehensive instructions to the T... however after over a month.. all I had was some mould on one of the planters. I emptied all the others to see if any of the seeds even sprouted but none had. Some had mushed, some were just inactive. Maybe I done something wrong? I don't think I over watered them as I know that is an issue you have to be very careful with. I always let the soil get almost dry before watering again.Maybe I used the wrong water? It was just normal rain water. Maybe it was too cold inside? Maybe not enough sunlight? I'm not sure what the reason for the failure was but it was indeed that for me.. a failure.I recommend the kit itself, it is very comprehensive and would even make for a great gift... however for me with my limited green thumb skills, it was not successful.
