Good stuff
It's not too glossy but not a matte finish either. I like it a lot for my Warhammer and Blood Bowl figures. Goes on nice and even.

Frosting
Do not use unless you want to ruin the colors on your work and cover them in frost. I was very disappointed after I spent hours painting my figures only to finally reach the final step of covering them with some clear coat for protection. Unfortunately this changed all of the colors and covered the labels that I had put on them with frost and they are now unrecognizable. I shook the can adequately and started with a very thin first coat and never made it any further after what I saw the results. Don't ruin your hard work and detail with this!

Careful on metallics
It not only dulls the metallics completely, but it almost changes the colors of them. I turn out having to go back over the metallics again. I just can not stand what it does to them, but some people do not care.

Very frosty
I have not been able to figure out how to keep this from frosting my models. Army painter or vallejo varnish works out of the airbrush with 0 issues but the citadel varnish always frosts the models.

Absolutely worthless
I shook this item for over a half hour, tested on multiple models and all of them were utterly ruined. I strongly recommend you avoid this

will ruin you hard work!
Avoid this product at all costs. It will take your hard work and ruin it. I tried this to protect my Necrons and it frosted them badly. Thankfully I only ruined 4 of them. I had high hopes for his and I'm severely disappointed in this. Citadel is better than this!
