I had an original (and expensive) 'Book Book' by Twelvesouth for two years. Ordered this as a replacement, and after a few weeks, I am very pleased. It's just as tough as the original, and perhaps better, in so far as the phone snaps in by using a hard and unobtrusive plastic bumper. In the original Twelvesouth case, the phone sits in a leather pouch which ripped after a few months, so I was walking around with tape on the bottom. This one stops into a plastic iPhone bumper, and to that extent more durable.One drawback is that, like my original leather case, the colour flakes off a little bit on the spine with long use. To me, it's fine as it contributes to the 'weathered' look of an old book, but for the fancy-pants among us, you can tell it's not real leather. I am not a fancy pants, however, and can order four of these for the price of one of those stupid twelvesouth cases.And finally... the seller. I accidentally cracked my case a few weeks after I got it. As far as I can tell, this was not due to any inherent design flaw of the product compared to any other plastic bumper - plastic just breaks sometimes. The seller sent me a replacement immediately. All I had to show was a photo of the damage.This whole experience is exactly how amazon is supposed to work. Product better than described. Seller fantastic. No hassle.

purchased in January - the plastic phone holder part has now broken on all corners and has a crack running diagonally across. Leather quality seems fine but the case is let down by a very poor quality plastic in the part that holds the actual phone

Fits phone, looks good. Smells a bit funny at first, but such is life.

Its great, I love this cover. Cardholders are a little tight, but its a really neat looking cover.

Okay fine product, what to be expected. Cool design, exactly what I was looking for. Was a bid surprised by how thick it was and the weight.
