ARS LA-180ZF305 Telescoping Pruner with Razor Edge Head

What a wonderful tool! Never cared or thought much about shears but i tried ARS brand by buying their VS shear and saw how well they cut I'm converted into a believer. This extended one is just as good quality as their regular shears, I have bunch of robellini palms that have thorns and like to keep them trimmed but not over-trimmed its hard to reach with all the thorns, this made super quick work of it. It's pricy tool but one that will probably last lifetime since parts are replaceable

What a GREAT tool!!! The loppers don't always reach where the little branches are. The l-o-n-g telescoping pruner with a pull cord is often more effort that it's worth. It's often cumbersome. But THIS little gem . . . The very sharp blade is activated with a hand squeeze (like scissors). It easily telescopes to 4 different lengths, and is small enough to get the blades into tight spots, where the long pole pruner has a pull-down chain the needs much more room to operate! I PRUNED OVER 120 WATER SHOOTS OFF OUR APPLE TREE IN 2 DAYS! No ladder needed. My husband was THRILLED!!! This one is the '180'. The '160' cuts through 1/4 inch branches. The '180' cuts up to 1/2 inch. It arrived in 2 days, in a very large and long box! Great service, great tool!!!

Lightweight but seems sturdy enough. It took me about 20 mins to figure out how to work it There should be some basic instruction. The clip at the top arrived passed in and i could not operate it. I tried to close the shear at the bottom but was in operative Once i figured out the top must be pulled out before the clip opens I was then able TO FIGURE OUT THE TELESCOPING AND HOW TO ACTIVATE THE SHEARS. AT THIS PRICE POINT, THIS SHOULD COME WITH SOME BASIC INSTRUCTIONS.,.

This is a great tool to reach vines, etc instead of using a ladder. Super lightweight and sharp. We love this and so happy to have found it in Amazon. Pricey but worth it to avoid a ladder for my 66 year old husband!

Good product. When I got I went and cut a bunch of green soft branches and a couple of a little bit thicker harder branches. I have very tall clusia hedge. It got very wide and tall. It is impossible to trim it with anything else. With this pruner it was easy. Some buyers complained that it does not have cutting power when fully extended. It is not correct. After you extend it, try to close/open blades with your hands few times until it get locked well. Then you can cut fine when fully extended. Also don't expect it to have power of shorter pruners or loppers. Use saw for thicker hard to reach branches.

Love this for tree trimming. Haven’t seen a better one. My only complaint is since I use it professionally it breaks after about a year.

I use the Pruners to do the hard to reach spots when I hand prune for customers. Great help after a little practice with it. I can work from the ground or a safer height on a ladder.

Love this item! Well made, easy to use. This pruner does exactly what it says it will... the long reach nearly eliminates the need for a ladder, the bypass design and quality of materials allow for extremely precise cuts in tough to get to trees. I absolutely love this thing - it's one of the best tools i've ever purchased... light weight, easy to use, high quality materials, well made - 5 STARS!

Taille et elagage des branches des arbres de mon jardin Tres pratique car peut attendre de grandes hauteurs (3 m), leger, maniable et facile d'utilisation, lames tres bien affutees et de maniere durable, mecanisme de coupe robuste et grande securite d'emploi avec gachette de calage des lames postion fermee quand l'appareil est non utilise. Bref je remplace mes anciens equipements de meme type par celui-la, cher, mais on comprend pourquoi.

Konnte ich leider nicht gebrauchen! Keine Funktion mit der Astschere möglich!

This is an excellent product. It is so easy to use. It made pruning my apple and holly trees an absolute breeze. My old long reach pruners had a pull string to operate the cutters. This product has a short leaver (a bit like a petrol pump) that you squeeze to snip the branch. The blades are very sharp and I could cut through all of the branches I expected to with very little effort. At the end of three long days of work, the tool was in just as good condition as when I started - so it seems to be very durable. This product is worth every penny IMHO.

Great for up to 1/2", cuts well, telescoping pole works good.
