I was a little unsure about this for my Lightning since it wasn't specifically mentioned and there are some minor differences. Beyond that it gets super hot inside the truck in Phoenix, so I wasn't going to go with any product that relies on 2-sided tape and the description doesn't specifically say if it does or not, but it doesn't, it just clips on to the trip piece.Downside is that it blocks the vent a little, but it keeps the phone cold while it charges. Overall does exactly what I need it to do and in exactly the way I wanted it done.

Application : Ford F-150 . Quality product. Simple, secure mount install. I have owned and used it for approximately 4 weeks, no less than three . So far have installed and removed it no less than eight 8 times and the two notch or clips on the mount visually show no signs of scratching, deeformation or bending, cracking etc, and neither does the dashboard! (Those removals were in a 2-day. Due to troubleshooting , phone mount not holding zenith over road driving...again easy fix. Install should have taken 5 minutes , and it will for you if you follow the following directions: The only major issue I have is the stock product will not hold the phone while road driving, bumps. Thus 4 star. Five star remedy REMEDY: so easy a caveman could do it if they had electrical tape. Electrical tape is key here. STEP1:You can find electrical tape from a friend or buy it for a buck to four bucks depending where you live. Electrical tape is important because it has a rubbery consistency and it's glue is tenacious but not permanent. It's very pliable. Cut NO LESS than 1/2 inch piece of your 3/4-in electrical tape. See image 2. Step 3: gently press said piece of tape on the round knob that you push your mount into. See image three. Step 4: push the mount onto the knob (see image 4) Step 5: when you screw the tightening knob onto the mount, make it snug and then half a turn tighter. Adjust it slightly tighter or looser over your next couple of drives as well as adjusting the position of the angle of the phone to your eyes. Step 6: Adjustment. Image 5. Once in position and properly snugged down (velvet hammer at most, folks), phone will not protrude over your front edge of your hood, nor interfere with your "infotainment" center and Vent. It only slightly obstructs the top two tiers of your event. Because it's pushed or mounted 2 inches off of the face of the dashboard towards driver and is a high mount. Location is perfect because you don't have to actually move your head to see your phone and there is zero obstruction on your windshield. All you have to do is slightly move your eyes. Conclusion : It's a really good design at the current market price point. It looks good mounted. Very secure. NOTE . For me an in Ford F-150 I had to put that electrical tape on it and now the product is near perfect .You do not want a phone blocking your windshield vision because if you're in an accident it's an avenue for somebody to sue you. The challenge though is to also not mount your phone where you have to physically move your head to see it. This mount accomplishes everything for me.

!. It did not fit as it was supposed to on an F-150 truck but you could mount on the air vent but then it drooped. 2. Had it a little more than 3 months and it broke off the vent. Not sturdy enough.

This is an awesome truck mount for my F-150. I did have issues with install. Take your time and install it correctly. There is a small clip that holds it on to the trim that will in fact break off. It happened to me. I simply instead just used some double sided tape that I had to fix it to the trim instead.

It's a great phone mount for the 21+ Ford F150 if you don't have BlueCruise. This will block your camera location and cause BlueCruise not to engage.

Smart solution for holder . This is a custom F150 holder and work wonderful. Only thing recommended is put a little 3m double face for better stick. The holder should be bring the 3m but not .
