Bootstrap Farmer Snap On Clamps 1/2 inch 50 pack Row Cover Clips for Greenhouse Plastic Shade Cloth

These have been awesome and easy to get on quickly! I am attaching to 1/2inch conduit and the fit is perfect with my lighter and thicker row covers. I know my row covers are not going anywhere now and my plants are safe with these on! These held with no problem with 4inch of wet spring snow, strong winds, and even a hail storm thus far! I have put them on and removed them multiple times now and they have not lost the ability to hold. They are harder to remove, but I figure that is a good thing. I believe we will get multiple seasons out of these clamps. Quality product that is worth the money.

These are great clamps for heavier material like frost blanket, insect netting and shade cloth. They are hard on summer weight fabric because they are difficult to remove and will tear the fabric. I use other clamps for that application. These are very tight at first but do become more pliable with use. I've had some for several years and they still hold firm but are more easily removed than brand new ones

Using these to make row covers for some of my herbs and such as freezing temps or snow have occasionally occurred as late as June in the past. Using 1/2” Schedule 40 PVC pipe and 4 mil plastic sheeting. These clamps are easy to use and fairly easy to remove. They do better on straight pipe, but also do a good job on curved pipe. Clamps down over pipe and either a single thickness or a double thickness of plastic sheeting well. Only issue noted so far is that some of the clamps “pop” off in a strong wind storm such as occurred here about a week ago (25-40 MPH winds) due to the wind stress to the plastic sheeting. Otherwise these work well with 1/2” schedule 40 PVC pipe. I would purchase again.

I have used these to fasten heavy woven hail cloth and a variety of shade cloths to the PVC hoops on all the raised beds in my garden. They go on perfectly and secure even multiple layers of cloth to the PVC. Sturdy and flexible--not completely rigid so they have just the right amount of give for easy on and off. I expect these to last "forever".

I've been trying everything to keep the plastic attached to my greenhouse and haven't found anything that works anywhere as well as these. They hold sturdy and don't blow off in high winds (so much so that in a recent windstorm with gusts of 80+mph, the clips hold so well that my PVC greenhouse frame snapped! Granted it was old and some of the junctions needed to be replaced.) If you're tired of clips popping off all of the time, buy these. They're worth it.

These are very sturdy and tight fitting clasps, so that is wonderful. Unfortunately, they are so tight, they ripped my $115 6ml plastic for my greenhouse. May put duct tape on the next plastic I get to reinforce it and save it as I'll need to buy more for next year.

I used these clamps to secure hail fabric to a metal conduit frame. They worked exactly as I wanted and expected, and seemed to hold securely. I've only had them for a couple of weeks, so I can't comment on durability, but they appear to be well made, so I expect they will last well.
