I have Autism and ADHD, which causes me to become easily distracted and overstimulated by excessive noise in my surroundings. I work in an office where, at times, our setting can be quite bustling and active. This caused me issues before, I couldn't focus and sometimes would have to physically leave the office for a moment to gather myself. These ear muffs work very well for what I need them for. They block out excessive talking, boisterous laughing, printers printing paper after paper, etc. I'm able to comfortably work in my office again. I usually wear my earbuds under them with music or podcasts playing and the combination nearly completely mutes my surroundings. As others have mentioned, they are a little snug. Not too terribly tight, but I give myself breaks and adjust them periodically. Worth it in my opinion.

I purchased these for woodworking with power tools (miter saw, table saw) and they really do reduce the noise substantially. They fit me well (5'1" female) and are comfortable.

Got these on sale for $11.00 each to serve as hearing protection for light construction during our remodel. For the price, these are excellent. Worked exceptionally well to mute sound from the pneumatic nailer & compressor, various powered hand tools, table saw while ripping hardwood flooring, and my wife's comments regarding the speed of the remodel. One star off for size and comfort. I got an extra set for my son (12) and he has no problem with the fit. While they do fit my head (sort-of) the expansion system is peculiar and a little tight for an adult's head. This shouldn't be too much of an issue since one doesn't usually wear these continually during the day. Despite the minor discomfort, these are a "can't miss" item at the price.

For the most part, provides a total silence but doesn't cancel tinnitus (did not expect that it would). Very comfortable: sleeping through the night. Love the silence/serenity! Took a while before I realized that it adjusts in length on the sides near the ears not from the head band. They are bulky and do not permit you to sleep on your side. I use them with a sleeping mask and bipap which is also helpful. If my face mask (bipap) springs a leak I don't hear it. I have musculoskeletal pains and so I must use two body pillows (one on each side) to stabilize my spine and limbs. So when all devices/pillows are applied I have a really good chance of getting through the night. I sleeping aide (melatonin) and Tylenol and hydrating before bed adds to the enhancement of sleep management. Getting a good nights rest is so necessary when you are older so take care of yourselves and look for solutions! They are there especially on Amazon. ( I am not a paid robot).

Coming back to buy another pair so I thought I'd leave a review. My 11 year old is sensitive to loud sounds and has sensory issues. I was unsure if they would even use these, but they are working great. Whenever surroundings are too loud, they pop these on and are able to stay calm. You can also still hold a conversation with them on, which is a bonus for our use! So this doesn't totally mute sounds out, but takes it down several levels to make it more manageable. For large heads they do fit a bit snug, but it's not unusable. Just something to keep in mind if someone is sensitive to things on their head, they don't adjust very far.

I originally gave this 1 star for being too small and painful to wear right out of the box. Like most of the ear protection devices on the market, this does not have a headband that adjusts for your specific head size. However, I found that if you open the headset and place around a box for several days to "stretch it out" (per their instructions), the headset does become a bit looser and would be fine to wear. Just noting that I tried 2 other brands and they were just as uncomfortable right out of the box. So just be aware that whatever brand you order you will need to stretch them out before you could actually wear them. I compared 3 brands by trying them on one by one with my lawn mower running and found that another brand that had better sound reduction and was also thinner and lighter ...so returned these.

This noise reduction headset works great for the purpose I intend for it to do. I used it around my house and turned up the TV volume. No one really talks this loud and especially in the airplane that I want to use it for. My long-haul flight is coming up soon and just my luck--I always sit near crying babies or spoiled 5 year olds. It is a little uncomfortable to wear but I am sure this is because I have not had such a device before and with some time, my head will adjust to the snugness, I am sure.

La verdad me parece muy bueno, yo lo pedí para tiro deportivo y es excelente para protección de los oídos, muy recomendable.

Son maravillosos y protegen muy bien, ajustan muy bien y son de muy buena calidad.

Me gustó mucho este producto ya que te aisla casi por completo del ruido. Todo se siente en calma de inmediato en cuanto te los pones. Si lo recomiendo, llegó en tiempo y forma en excelentes condiciones.

Cumplen bien su función, solo son un poco incómodos, espero mejoren con el uso

I get overstimmulated by sounds a lot, or sometimes need quiet times to study and these help a lot with both of those issues. They dampen almost all noise but still allow you to hear if someone is talking to you. They only become uncomfortable after prolonged use but they have still held their quality even 3 years later.
