Update: I’m very happy now.
Update: After reading my comments the good people at Tenveo convinced me to give their latest camera a try for use on my YouTube channel, The Edge of Innovation. Wow. I’ve been blown away. The new camera features everything I wanted in the old cameras. And the Ai tracking? It works really well. Much better than the Fomako cameras I have. I’ll be doing a quick update and review on my channel of this amazing camera soon. My review has gone from a 2 or 3 star to a full 5 stars.Original post: The cameras are just okay. I needed something that could be controlled via a PTZ controller. These have no power-over-ethernet RJ45 jack. I purchased some from Fomako that work very well. They also have the Ai autotracking and, in addition, offer NDI capability. A little more money, but the better choice.

Great camera!
My previous PTZ camera was giving a blue hue to the image. This one produces a high-quality image and is very quiet when moving around. I have one nit-pick: The POWER LED is BLUE and the STANDBY LED is GREEN. The POWER LED is really "CAMERA LIVE" and it should be GREEN, and the STANDBY LED should be YELLOW or ORANGE. A more troublesome issue is there are settings that can only be adjusted from a menu that shows up in the image -- I have no idea how to make it show up so it's large enough to actually read, so I can't change any of the settings. I've only used this with Zoom; I don't know what I'd need to do to get it so the image is large enough on a 4k screen to see the menu. This thing should have a built-in server that you can connect to that lets you make adjustments, the way many printers work.

I wish I could give this less than one star.
I sent this crap back!!!!!I wish I could give this less than one star. My iPhone had better picture quality, and the motion control from the included remote sucked.. SUPER laggy... Even OBS commands were slow.Despite settings and lighting adjustments, I couldn't get a decent video.

A good option for advanced setups, especially multi-camera setups
Reasons To Buy+ Build quality is excellent+ Image quality is excellent as well. Low light performance is better than a consumer webcam.+ This is a good option for streamers/content creators who want an easy to use option for a multi-camera setup with centralized control (although it does require the purchase of additional hardware). You don't need any capture cards (although these cameras do have concurrent HDMI output), or mess around with mirrorless camera settings, etc.+ Optical zoom is always better than digital zoom. With digital zoom, the pixels get bigger, which can result in a softer image at high zoom settings. The lens is reasonably sharp at the maximum zoom level+ Autofocus works well (you can also manual focus with the remote)+ Includes a fully featured infrared remote that can control up to 3 cameras.+ Glass lens, not plastic+ Plug and play on Windows.+ Has USB, HDMI and SDI ports. All ports will work concurrently.+ Has a standard tripod thread for mounting. Also includes a ceiling mount plate.+ The camera is addressable (if you are using a multi-cam setup) using DIP switches+ Is part of a larger ecosystem where you can have multiple cameras controlled by a (separately purchased) standalone controller. Note that the included infrared remote can control up to three cameras also.Nitpicks / Hit or Miss* It's huge, but it's designed for boardrooms, not individual use* When at the maximum zoom, it's very sensitive to vibrations (this is a common issue with any optical zoom)* No software required. You can change the settings of the camera using the remote (a on-screen menu appears in the video output)* Even though the camera does not have a microphone, Windows will detect a "Capture input terminal", and default the microphone to it.* The menu interface could be better. I'm used to a center OK button to navigate, but you use the arrow keys to drill down, and the menu button to set the options. The center button around the directional keys goes "home", which goes against my muscle memory.Reasons Not To Buy- You're a remote worker looking for a camera for your video calls. Unless you have a specific need for a camera like this, it's overkill. It's big and expensive, and you probably don't need it.- It's not as easy to use as a more consumer oriented webcam- Cannot be powered by USB alone.- It's only 1080p 30FPS, which could be a dealbreaker for more specific use cases. Tenveo does have a 4K model though. 60FPS is achieved using interlacing (this is set in the camera menu).- No power over ethernet support.- Does not have a built in microphone. You will need to provide your own- As far as I can tell from checking Tenveo's site, there is no camera specific software control for the webcam. You will need to buy the KZ1 hardware controller for advanced use cases.- If it matters to you, the 1/2.9" sensor is small, so you won't get the type of bokeh you would get from a multi-cam mirrorless camera setup. The tradeoff here is convenience and ease of use. At the end of the day, it really comes down to your specific use case and needs.Good Value? It's a good camera for a situation where the budget allows. It's a good solution for enterprise situations. For streamers and content creators, because it's a webcam, it's easy to use compared to using a mirrorless camera setup that requires a capture card/stick, etc. The option for a physical controller also makes a huge difference for advanced multi-cam setups. For a consumer, I don't think it's a good value unless you have very specific needs and the patience to deal with its advanced features.

Excellent performance in a compact package. PTZ functionality works seamlessly.
I recently got my hands on this video conference camera and was eager to dive deep into its features. Right off the bat, what stood out was its robust construction. It felt sturdy, which is always a good sign, and it made me optimistic about the camera's durability in the long run. The lens, too, looked high-grade, a promise of the kind of video quality one can expect. The setup process was pretty straightforward. Unlike some other tech products I've tried in the past, there was no labyrinth of instructions to navigate. I appreciate when a product is intuitive like that, it just makes the whole experience smoother. I was up and running in no time, ready to test out its capabilities.Using the camera was a treat. The 10x optical zoom caught my attention immediately. In today's world, where most of us are working remotely and relying on video calls for communication, clarity is crucial. And with this feature, zooming in didn't result in a pixelated mess but maintained a clear, crisp image. I could see this being especially useful during presentations or work meetings where close-ups are necessary. As I tinkered with the settings, I discovered the camera's Exposure menu had an option to switch between 50Hz and 60Hz. This was a life-saver when I observed some flickering in my video feed. With a simple adjustment, the problem was sorted. One of the things that added to its user-friendly nature was the variety of video outputs. I didn't need to worry about which ports my devices had. Whether it was USB, HDMI, or SDI, this camera had it covered. Now, while it has a lot going for it, there was one feature I found myself wishing for - auto user tracking. It would've been a fantastic addition to have the camera automatically frame me as I moved during a meeting or presentation. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's definitely on my wishlist for future versions. The PTZ functions were generally smooth. The panning could be a touch jerky if I moved too fast, but the tilt and zoom were impeccable.Additionally, I appreciated the built-in OSD menu and the range of control protocols like VISCA and PELCO-D. For those with multi-camera setups, the addressing feature is beneficial. The camera's size and weight felt just right, making it versatile for various mounting options, be it desktop or ceiling mount. In conclusion, this video conference camera was an exciting piece of tech to experiment with. Its features, from the impressive optical zoom to the multiple video outputs, make it a reliable choice for anyone looking to enhance their video conferencing game. While there's room for improvement in areas like user tracking, it holds its own and promises a solid performance. If you're in the market for a professional-grade video camera that won't break the bank, this might just be the one.

Happy with the NV10A's performance
I recently used the Tenveo NV10A Video Conference Camera in our church's conference room for a special live streaming event. The 1080p video quality provided crisp visuals, which was essential for broadcasting our services online. We set up the camera with multiple preset positions using the included IR remote control, making it easy to switch between different angles during the live stream. The camera's compatibility with various streaming software, including YouTube, made it a breeze to reach our online audience. While the need for an SDI converter was a small inconvenience, it didn't deter from the overall positive experience. The Tenveo NV10A Video Conference Camera delivered the quality and flexibility we needed for our church's live streaming, earning it a solid 4/5 star rating. The 3-year warranty provided peace of mind, making it a valuable addition to our setup.
