These work well for automobile phone holders
I purchased these for my wife’s magnetic iphone holder for her car. The adhesive pad it came with gave up in about 6 months. This looked like the way to fix it and it was. It made it through the first “hot car summer” without a problem. Please note that I carefully trimmed the tape so that it covered only the flat part of the mount, I didn’t leave any on the raised trim which would have cut down on the contact area.

I used these for a Thinkware dashcam
I would have liked them to be a little wider but I was able to use one piece and cut one in half to attach a Thinkware dashcam to my car windshield. It's been about a month and so far it's holding well.

I purchased these to hold both dash cameras in my vehicles. They are the perfect size, easy to use and well made. I placed them in both dash cameras and they have held so far for over a month with no problems. I highly recommend and I will purchase again if needed
