Will this control mosquitos that swarm me when I am on my deck drinking cold beer?

Maybe if you roll in it???? I bought it for my chicken's dust bath and that keeps them bug free.....either way if you drink enough tasty cold beers you won't feel the mosquitos so that's a plus....also I recommend chickens either way. They keep you entertained while drinking or not, may eat your mosquitos and provide breakfast if you're hungover or not...so it's a win all round!

In houston we have large ant beds due to "fire ants". does your product kill fire ants?

diatomaceous earth will kill ants. I had any hills in my yard, I just throw a hand full on it and in two days they are gone. I also use it on my firewood when I find ants. Iy stops being effective if it gets wet. I also use it in my Chicken coops under the wood shavings to kill mites and any bug that may wonder in. It is not a poison, it is made up of microscopic sea shells that are ground up to make a fine power.

Will it kill german roaches that are outside?

By concept and makeup, lime should kill all bugs that come in contact with it. Now we all know that roaches are certainly the most difficult of all bugs to kill...I mean even folklore has them living through nuclear explosions. With that said, I have sprinkled this around my coop for almost 2 years (in Florida, the roach paradise) and have NEVER seen a cockroach inside their run or coop. I don't use any other bug killer.

Does it repel toads? My dog got poisoned from 1 and almost killed her. Not looking to ever see another toad in my yard again..

In retrospect, yes. If you're repelling insects, you will naturally have less animals that eat those insects, i.e toads. Animals don't live where there isn't any food.

Great product! So glad we found First Saturday

Worth every penny. We have been looking for something safe to be able to put down on our lawn after a different eco/pet safe company just disappeared a couple years ago. My husband came across this and we gave it a shot. So glad we did. Every year during the warm months we like to put something on our lawn and around our house just for extra protection against ants, fleas, ticks and other insects for our dogs (who are treated already) and our house. First Saturday Lime works and works well. It is safe for your animals (and kids). Just follow the simple directions on the bag and you will be good to go in no time. So glad we found First Saturday, we are so thankful for a company that cares about people and their pets.

Comes with a scooper.

This is so easy to put down with the scooper that comes in the package. It didn’t irritate my sinuses at all or negatively affect the chickens. I put it down once a month and it really helps keep the smell in check. I haven’t had any issues since using it. It’s a fine Lowe’s and it gets mixed in more as the chickens walk and dig. I use it in their nesting boxes too.

Great stuff. Don't waste time with flowers and spices.

This stuff is amazing. I dust my chicken and duck coops with it every week, as well as their dust baths and nesting boxes. I have a small farm in rural Texas and we get serious flies. This repels them and keeps the sour odors down. That herbal spice stuff is great for city chickens, but out here it doesn't do dittily squat. I like that its organic and doesn't harm the environment. I also use the wood shaving substrate in my compost pile so the PH tends to balance out the acidity of the wood.

Chicken must have!!

I have purchased this for over 5 years since I first started backyard chicken keeping. I’ve never had any issues with mites or other bugs and my chickens stay healthy. The bag lasts a long time as I use it in the coop and run (mixed with sand and worships) every few months to freshen up their area. MUCH safer for chickens respiratory systems than dichotomous earth!!
