I've had rosacea for years. Nothing I've tried has helped; it just kept getting worse and worse.Recently, I read an article (http://jonbarron.org/article/mites-and-rosacea#.VTlRj5MapOY) that talked about studies that have shown that many rosacea sufferers have an overgrowth of the microscopic skin mites that nearly all of us have on our skin. The article recommended trying this soap.I was a bit hesitant, since so many other rosacea products had failed to help me. Besides, this soap is expensive! But the article was written by Jon Barron, an alternative health researcher whose work I trust, so I decided to go forward. I ordered two bars, one for in the shower and one for my bathroom sink. I also ordered a special shampoo (also from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BC9I906/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that claims to control these microscopic skin mites on the scalp.I've been using both of these these products for three days now. This is day four. I use the soap twice a day, once in the morning when I shower, and again when I wash my face just before I go to bed. I use the shampoo every day, when I shower.In just three days, my skin has already improved quite a bit. The redness is fading, the swelling on my nose is diminishing, and the little bumps I used to get on my nose are gone. I'm amazed, and I cannot wait to see how things will look in a couple of weeks!I would never say they were the loveliest products. I don't like the shampoo or the soap that much. The first day or two, the shampoo hardly foamed up at all and left my hair feeling dry and heavy. But yesterday was better. Perhaps it was removing residue from my previous shampoo? I don't know, but it does seem better now.I have very sensitive skin and, although the soap is somewhat drying, it's not as drying as I expected it might be, based on what some people have reported in their reviews.I suppose I should add that I went "natural" some years back, so I no longer wear makeup. If I did, I think I would have considered replacing the makeup, in case might be contaminated with the mites or their eggs. I live in a very dry climate, so I do usually use a moisturizer (unrefined coconut oil). However, I'm not using the coconut oil while I'm using this soap, in case it might undermine the effectiveness of the soap.I'm also trying to be very careful about recontamination. I wear a CPAP, so I soaked and washed the headgear with some of the shampoo, and I'm washing the nasal pillow with the soap every morning. I'm also changing my pillowcase every evening, before I go to bed.I don't know for sure whether those extra steps are helping, but the improvement in my rosacea has been remarkable -- and these two products are the first ones I've tried that have made any difference at all. I am so grateful that I don't care that I don't like the shampoo and soap all that much. These products seem to be working, and working well, they both get five stars from me!I'm looking forward to seeing how my skin looks a month from now!

I have had rosacea for about 2 years now. Tried all sorts of remedies and none worked. Found out I am allergic to Tea Tree in the trying. This soap works. I began to see improvement in about a month. I've been using it for about 8 months now. I haven't had any flares in that time. It also helped greatly with my young adult daughter's acne. It can be drying, so follow up with moisturizer.UPDATE 3/20/19Two years later and I'm still using this soap. It still works great. I can say it has controlled my rosacea wonderfully in that time. I still get some redness from time to time which is easy to cover up. I was getting pustules before. I'm completely happy with the results. My daughter's acne is also under control. Other than hormone induced monthly pimples she rarely gets a zit. Her face hasn't been this clear since she was a child. Neither one of us will do without this soap.We both use it once a day and follow up with a moisturizer. I cannot stress enough that you must use it for at least 30 days before you can say if it works for you or not. We both experienced what appeared to be worsening of our symptoms in the first 2-3 weeks of using. HANG IN THERE. Keep using it. Once that cleared, about 3-4 days later, we have never had to deal with anywhere near the level of hot mess we had going on our faces since. The soap is pricey but it lasts a long time. Well worth the cost as I don't need anything else to keep my face clear and neither does she. Keep it dry in between uses.UPDATE 10/20No, no one is paying me. I'm still using it and it still works wonders. I haven't had a flare in about 3 years. I've noticed my face is rarely red anymore, too. I use it a lot less now, 2-3 times a week.UPDATE 8/23Still use it. Though I use it maybe once a week or twice at the most. I haven't had a flare in years. It's gotten crazy pricey which is hard since everything else has, too. I keep at least one bar and a backup on hand at all times since it's not available at times. I may see if the rosacea is gone for good by not using it all for a time...will report back with results.I keep updating so any rosacea/acne sufferers thinking of getting the soap get a long term view. It's tough to find something that works.

This product was suggested to me by a colleague.Her daughter had terrible acne and she thought it might help with my rosacea.I have been using it twice a day as recommended on the package. Although you feel that your skin is very clean, I can't say that it has helped with my problem.

Good but for my type of skin almost impossible to use more than once per week. It is very drying.
