I HIGHLY recommend this calendar (Red Ember Horse)!! The paper IS thick and sturdy (compared to some of the previous calendars I purchased from other suppliers which had VERY thin paper), the horse photos are GORGEOUS, the calendar is the size I expected, and there is room on each day to write appointments, birthdays, anniversaries, etc (this is how I use it.) GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!

I'm not sure how much I can say about a wall calendar, but the clear star of the show here is the gorgeous pictures of these magnificent creatures. A variety of breeds are showcased, and in their natural environment, which I appreciate. I so much more enjoy seeing them like this, than I would if they were all tacked up and competing in one sport or another. I have nothing against them participating in various activities with people, but there's a joy to seeing them less focused on work, and more free to act at liberty. For me, that's when their grace and strength really shine through.The pictures are beautiful, the quality of the paper and the overall dimensions are comparable to other wall calendars, so if you are a horse lover, or choosing a gift for someone who is, this one is certainly worth your consideration. I don't think they'd be disappointed.

This is a nice calendar with pretty pictures and pretty good paper and printing. I find the manufacturer's choice to put a big American flag on the back and say it's "printed and manged in Reno, NV" and then have a teeny-tiny "printed in China" elsewhere on the packaging to be a bit misleading. If one wants the benefit of USA goods and to stand out in that regard, then print here, otherwise lay off the flags. If you like the pictures and it's on par with the price you're hoping to pay, then go for it.

this calendar is beautiful. the pictures are crisp and clear. the squares on the calendar have enough room on them to write all of your appts and such on them. there isnt much detail that i need to go into. its for sure worth the buy.
