Cliff Richard: 50th Anniversary Time Machine Tour [DVD]

I gather all the dvds from Cliff as it is nearly impossible to see him live.This dvd is recorded is his prime..fantastic band, fantastic arrangements and a great voice!Together with the 40 year anniversary dvd, this is one to have!

All I can say is WOW what a concert. I have never been a fan of Cliff Richard so I think I can make a very good assessment of the concert and Cliff Richard. My Fiancé dragged me to the Time Machine concert in Glasgow's SECC on Sunday the 30th November 08, I just went as company for my Fiancé, who has been a die hard fan for the past 30 years.Well, after Glasgow I was totally converted because for some reason I subconsciously new most of the songs. I found myself signing along to the songs. He was unbelievable and brilliant without question.So when I got back home I ordered this DVD as a Christmas present for my Fiancé but we could not wait to watch. Nearly two and half hours of pure delight and I am now a fan. The filming and duets were just absolutely out of this world. The sound was just wonderful and the colours just magnificent. For a 67 year old he is just superb. This DVD has been put together very well and the film crew pulled out all the stops for this one. My favourite artist of all time is Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac, no one can touch her in my eyes, but this DVD of Cliff's is just magical.If you are a fan of Cliff Richard it would be a crime not to own this and if not try it out as you will not be disappointed, I would bet you would know some of the songs. Knowing what like it is I would have paid £60 for this no problem but at such a low price what a Gem to own.He sings over 20 songs and the medley near the end is just superb. Just when you think he is finished he just keeps going. I think I have said enough. If someone who has never bought any Cliff Richard material, till now, enjoys this concert so much how much more so would a fan. Myself and my fiancé have also booked to see Cliff and the Shadows next year in the O2 in London, what a fantastic way to start our honeymoon. Well done to the Producers and Cliff for producing such a masterpiece.

this was the GREATEST one Yet , ever one got to get this one, he is so good and the feeling come pouring out of him ,he is so so sencere and love us all you can tell that by watching this tour, he isnt getting older he is beter than ever and it shows i got two of them so when i wear one out i have a other. Cant waite for the next one , i bet its going to be as great as or better, but for now i will enjoy this one. this is a got to have if you are a CLIFF fan.....Go buy it NOW......

I didn't get to see this show live but the DVD brought it alive in my sitting room. The show is full of brilliant songs a great mixture of his hits over the 50 years. No matter what type of song he sings he make a success of everything. The band, backing singers and dancers are also at the very top of their profession. If you haven't seen this DVD would strongly reccomend you get a copy.

I've been buying Cliff Richard DVDs for years now and all given them5 stars because each and every one has something special and catchy.This time however, although celebrating his 50th anniversary as asinger, it may be the scenery, the colours used, the songs chosen,there's something lacking. It doesn't "catch" you and after half an hour,as happened with me, I stopped it and saw the rest days later.There's no connection with the audience as on all other DVD's likeCastles in the Air, Live Here and Now, From A Distance, World Tour 2003etc. All these are full of life with clapping and "wild" audiencesparticipating in each and every song. I would recommend any of thesementioned, before getting this one. I was disappointed for the firstwith a Cliff Richard show.
