I bought this to replace an old $200 down comforter that finally over a decade of continuous use had no more loft. When ordering this one I didn't have high expectations, given the low price ($49), but figured it would probably be adequate for a mild southern Arizona winter if I crank up the heat a bit at night, and then I could buy a better comforter sometime in the future.After I took it out of its vacuum-sealed bag and fluffed it up with some vigorous shaking, it started to puff up quite nicely, and by that evening it was ready to try out. I have to admit I was pretty impressed with its loft. A few buyers thought it was too heavy, and it is in fact a bit heavy, but that was a positive for me... I was originally worried it was going to be too skimpy. A few buyers also noted it was "noisy"... I actually didn't notice that until I purposely tried to listen for it, and yes it has a bit of crunch when you handle it. But I found if I'm not consciously listening for it, I don't really notice it. One buyer mentioned it aggressively leaks feathers. I've only had this comforter for a week and so far there's not one stray feather to be found, but I'll edit this review in the future if that becomes an issue.It was extremely comfortable and warm the first night I tried it, and I found I didn't have to crank up the heat at all... it kept me toasty even as my house dropped to overnight temperatures a bit cooler than I would normally prefer for sleeping. However, I suspect it may be too warm to use during the summer, at least here in Arizona. But all things considered, I'm very happy with this purchase. There have been many times in the past where I've had buyer's remorse after purchases on Amazon, but definitely not this time. I rarely give 5-star reviews, but in this case I couldn't find anything to complain about to warrant a lower rating.

I was so skeptical of this because it really wasn’t that expensive so I didn’t know what we were getting… it’s AMAZING so warm and the weight is perfect!! It’s soft and stays in the do a cover well!

I’ve been looking for a “crunchy” thick duvet for some time and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for at a good price. It’s stays cool, it’s a bit weighed which I like, and it’s very cozy.

I feel like royalty when I use this. It's SO thick and full. It does get a bit warm for me (I tend to be warm when I'm sleeping though anyway) but it's SO cushiony and comfortable that there's NO WAY I'm returning this. Love it.

At first I was in love, seemed like a high quality insert. I don't use a duvet, so I'm using it like a comforter, last week I noticed tiny, sharp feathers were magically appearing all over my bed, the last straw was a speck of blood I found on the insert while making the bed, one of the feathers broke skin! This duvet insert was almost perfect but the random feather leakage and injury has me wanting to throw it away already. And the feathers are incessant! Literally one just flew past my phone as I type! From what I see there are no holes, so I don't know where they're coming from but it's annoying and dangerous the rate at which this insert sheds feathers!

My cats had an accident on my bed and ruined my former down comforter because it couldn’t be washed. I needed to replace it but was looking for something more economical and that could be washed.Here are the good things:- warm (although toasty in summer)- looks nice- value for money- size is true- feathers don’t poke outHere are the not so good:- doesn’t fluff up. Picture is on day 3 after putting in dryer when I first received it- cover material is not soft- color I wanted not available (I have a duvet cover for winter but it’s too much in summer)Overall, I’m glad I bought it, just not as nice as the one the cats ruined

We love our new duvet. Recommend ordering one size larger than your mattress. We ordered a king sized for our queen side mattress. Perfect!!!!

I've had this duvet for about three months now, and unfortunately, the quality has been disappointing. Over time, more and more feathers have been leaking out, and it's now gotten to the point where we have no choice but to throw it out. Given this experience, I would not purchase again

I find this combination of feathers and down and little heavier to sleep under than a 100% down filled comforter but still comfy-light enough for summer months
