Disappointed to find not bone, so edges are square. I rejected for a refund.

Made of plastic rather than bone, and not even good quality plastic: the tools are too thick, have a poor edge and have casting/extrusion lines.

Bone folder tools are traditional tools used by bookbinders and workers in paper craft. They would historically be made from bone, hence the name. Modern variants are, like these ones, made from plastic.They are still useful for anyone who uses paper in craft, whether cardmaking, origami or burnishing (i.e. rubbing) glued repairs to get a good seal and smooth seamless join. I got these for my wife, who makes her own cards and envelopes and she said they were almost as good as a more expensive pair she bought from a well known craft TV channel. The edges of these are not finished quite so well but for occasional use they will be perfectly good enough.

These are not made from bone but are coloured like it. I used one to flatten out thin metal to use in crafts and it works fine. The longer straight tool has quite a wide tip that could do with refining to give a sharper edge to make creases with. As I didn't pay for this I'm not too disappointed but it's not clear what you're getting from the headline on the listing.
