Andy Anand Sugar-Free Italian Freeze-Dried Orange Brittle: Pure Bliss in Every Bite! 7 Oz

These are a waste! No flavor & hard as a rock. We couldn't use them in anything. After attempting to use them multiple ways multiple times I gave up & threw them away! What a waste. I then tried to make some on my own using sugar free sweetner, etc. I ended up with a better product that actually resulted in more flavor!

It has a great taste and fragrance of orange. Love how it's sugar free too. And it's a great gift for family and friends.

Oranges are all broken and pale in color . Not at all as shown in pictures.

I’m not sure if this was just my box of freeze-dried orange brittle or something indicative of the product. I have eaten freeze-dried fruit before and usually they are light and crunchy. However, these were very hard and did not break or chew easily like normal brittle. I was afraid to crack a tooth, lose a filling, or even have a crown pop off if I kept at it.The flavor was alright with a good orange taste. It’s just too bad I couldn’t eat it properly. I just sucked on it a little bit.

In my experience, brittle is usually crunchy yet brittle. This was a lot harder than normal brittle but also doesn't seem to 'crunch' as well. I wasn't a fan of the texture. The flavor was alright, it tasted like a lightly sweetened orange, zest and all. The box had all the required labelling including a warning not to eat too much (the sugar alcohol which makes it sugar free can have a laxative effect in large amounts). The box was plain cardboard and wasn't very giftable. If you really like the flavor of orange & orange peel and don't mind having to bite into something pretty hard, maybe try this. Otherwise, I'd say pass on it.

I loved the package it came in great for when we were traveling and wanted a snack.These oranges were not only delicious but the texture and color on them were great.
