Fits and works on Barista Express, simple to fit.Can look daunting but a cheap easy fix, plenty of tutorials on YouTube.Anyone looking to fix their machine my symptoms were - hot water spitting from the hot water tap, no pressure on coffee but small ammounts of water still pushing through the machine and barely any pressure coming from steam wand. My first attempt was fixing the Solanoids this didn't work. I purchased this pump, swapped it in and machine works perfectly again!

I had purchased a Sage Barista Express off an auction site for a vastly reduced price to what they normally retail for. Admittedly, it did say it was a return item but I didn't know that it wouldn't work completely.Having looked through numerous websites to see what might be the issue, I figured out that it might be the water pump that had given up the ghost, so I dismantled the machine and took a look. I then realised that there wasn't many suppliers of water pumps for Sage coffee machines and Sage themselves were of no use whatsoever, as they wanted to charge me a couple of hundred pounds to service the machine!I managed to find this on Amazon and took a punt on it. What's the worst that could happen? I'd be saving myself a few hundred quid anyways. Once it arrived, I spent the best part of a morning taking the machine apart and replacing the pump. I then put it all back together again and switched it on and.... it worked! I was impressed that a) I managed to fit the bloody thing and b) that it worked. Saved me a ton of cash and I now have delicious coffee whenever I want it. Definitely recommend this.

My old Gaggia Classic coffee machine was in very good visual condition but it just did not pump very well.I investigated the coffee machine market and decided that I did not want to pay big money for a brand name but would prefer solid build construction and reliability. So I decided to repair my coffee machine.When I stripped down the Gaggia Classic, to my surprise, the date code on the pump was 24/10/2003. She had been pumping for nearly 15 years.The pump is very easy to remove. The pump power connections are fitted in a specific way and should not be reversed. You have to remove the brass union from the pump outlet and the inlet pipe to re install into the new pump. I used a pair of plumbers pliers to hold the pump plastic output pipe while removing the union with a small adjustable wrench. The pump is secured to the mounting plate with a rubber gaiter/shock absorber which was glued to the pump body on the inlet side of the pump. You have to ease this out carefully and when you reinstall the new pump, use a cable tie to hold the gaiter securely onto the pump body. The silicone pipes are easy to remove and re assemble. Once you have re assembled all of the components , check that all the connectors/connections are tight. Re assemble the top lid/filler spout and DO NOT forget to attach the earth tag to the top lid. Fill the reservoir with water but do not switch on. Remove the group. I placed a small bowl under the group head and switched on the power switch. Then I switched the coffee switch on , this starts the pump. Within seconds there was a very abundant shower of water coming from the group head into the bowl. This means that the pump had primed correctly. If no water comes out of the group head switch off immediately. This means that there may be an air lock and you have to prime the pump manually with water via a syringe connected to the pump inlet pipe. Now that you have reached this stage and everything is functioning as it should, it is time to clean the machine with "Pully Caff" coffee machine cleaner and your "blind basket".There is a lot of information on YouTube on how to do this. I did flush the machine thoroughly with a whole tank of water after cleaning. Now comes the acid test. With the machine up to working temperature, I made a double shot espresso. Perfect crema and a repaired Gaggia Classic. Please note that this is not a full restoration but a pump replacement only. I would suggest that the group head seal be replaced but in my case it was like new. Most of the parts are still available for this GREAT ITALIAN CLASSIC.The old Gaggia Classic is built like a WW2 bunker and gives a lot of "bang" for your money.

Absolutely delighted to leave this review for this amazingly priced coffee pump which fixed an issue I was having with my Sage Barista Pro.The problem I was having is that when I turned my machine on and selected the double shot button, no water was coming out. I Was advised to try and replace the pump.I wasn't sure if this pump was going to fit my machine as my original installed pump was the EFM model whilst this one on amazon was just the E model.For the budget friendly price of £20 I thought it was worth the risk after having been quoted £250 for my problem to be fixed by a local coffee machine technician.The part was easy enough to fit after watching a short video on YouTube. I closed the machine up and waited in anticipation to see if water would be dispensed when I selected the double shot button.....and it did!If you find yourself with a similar problem to mine, just go for this product especially for the Sage machines as they seem to use the same pump.Delighted with my purchase!Good luck with your repairs.

Was a perfect fit for the delonghi and took me about 2 hours to replace the pump and valve.Really pleased with what proved to be a great quick fix.
