Chrome started yellowing after just 2 uses
I’m very disappointed. 1st I bought one from another Amazon store that came used and rusty. So I decided to purchase another one from the Smeg store just to be disappointed again. This time it came in perfect condition, shinny just like my chrome toaster. But after 2 uses the chrome started yellowing . As you can see in the pictures, the chrome no longer matches . I did not clean it or used any product on it. It appears that the heat causes it to change color. I’m very sad because I was dreaming about having this matching set. There’s lots of bad reviews on this product, but I decided to take a chance on it and it it’s really disappointing.

Stylish & high quality, but NOT WHITE
Love this kettle! Looks great, and actually use the variable temp much more than expected.Only negative is I bought this because in one of the Q&As it said the color was ‘white’. Is is NOT white... it’s stainless. I ordered a second, just in case there was a mistake, but it arrived same as the first one.In the end, i decided to keep both. Giving one to a friend as house warming.
