Actually excellent bit of kit... I'm a pro signed guitarist (I was a drummer before anything else) and I like to play still and also record my own drums on my ideas and demos, this is perfect for it, Size': all of us adults looking at this are asking the same thing and doing the same YouTube searches.... Will it be like a kids kit on me... No... I'm 6ft and muscular built and it's nice to play, yeah it's not a full acoustic kit and yes you've gotta adjust how you play SLIGHTLY, as the pads are a little smaller than your Standard size acoustic kit, but that's the idea, it's meant to be portable and nice to store and space saving which is 100% is Ngl... I hated building it.... Wasn't fun lol.... Computer is easy to figure out without instructions (great for men lol) And I love that alesis do the add on Tom's and cymbals too, I used the extra tom with the extra crash as it does only come with x1 ride and x1 crash with hi hats and that's a no go for me... I need at least x2 crashes minimum as standard. But you've got the option to add them if you want!!! There are many different sounds of drums on the comp.. Most are totally trash but there's about 10 maybe very excellent, usable and realistic authentic sounding drums on it... You'll figure it out, there's about 40odd to go through but most are so bad you'll get through all 40 in about 6-7 mins like I did and decide your faves As an adult, a grown man beast, the size is nice and it's comfortable to use, I think it's excellent value for money too, quality is great for what you're paying for Functionality ticks all boxes for me. Does what it's designed to do lol... Yes slightly bigger pads would be nice.... But it's meant to be compact and that it is. Fits in my cupboard behind my wifes clothes collection and huge collection of high heels and boots lmao... And she even uses the kit too! So she doesn't complain about "there being a huge drum kit in the house"... Lol Try it, if it isn't for you return it for free lol no brainer

Great value, good quality, brillant size, easy to assemble, sounds are great, can't get my kids of it.

You need to like puzzles to put this together, took a lot longer than expected. The frame is not as steady as I would prefer but it works fine. The overall size seems small but again works fine. Once asembled the kit delivers as promised, an excellent kit to learn on with more features than I've had time to explore. As an absolute beginner I can confirm this kit is a good place to start. Came with a 90 day subscription to Drumeo, excellent. PS. Drumming is harder than it looks.

Brilliant piece of kit. Never had a go at drumming and always wanted one. This is perfect. Takes a bit of setting up as the instructions are not very clear. One set up and made a few minor adjustments it sits perfectly. It fits nicely in the corner of the room without taking up too much space. Very easy to pick up and move if needed. Well made but make sure you tighten the bolts well. The sound through the headphones (make sure you get some decent ones with noise cancelling) is brilliant. Doesn’t annoy the neighbours. Sounds like a real set of drums even though I’ve never played a real set. Plenty of kit sounds to choose from and loads of backing tracks to jam along to. I got 90 days access to Drumeo for free and is well worth it. Daily lessons to get you going. I can really recommend this and for the price you can’t go wrong. Only problem I encountered was the high hat pedal not being responsive sometimes. Contacted the manufacturer and a new one is on its way. Great customer service.

A fantastic kit! Bought the expansion pack too, which I would personally recommend, as it gives you more options around the kit (use one tom as a cow bell, for example). This kit is so good, I actually gig it in small venues (small pubs in the UK). The first 6 kits on the module are BFD drum samples, as far as I'm aware, but all the kits sound good. Hook this kit up to a laptop with BFD drums/EZ Drummer for an incredible array of drum kits at your disposal. Only one downside, the rack! After playing for a certain amount of time, the rack fittings drift to the point where the tubes part company with the clamps, and it falls over. Remember to check the tubes are fully inserted into the clamps before you play, and everything will be just fine. For the money, I don't think you'll find a better kit out there.

This is great. Perfect for what I wanted to achieve, and not massively expensive. Easy to set up and compact for when I want to ‘put it away’. Packaging is wonderful.

My first EKIT. Great sounds, responsive pads, pretty quiet playing on the mesh heads. The crash has a choke which was a welcome addition. Plenty kits pre installed with high quality, realistic samples. Easy assemble. One gripe is that the snare arm droops and the stand itself is a bit wonky. The 90 day free Drumeo membership is worth 90 quid on its own too, so that's a huge bonus if you are learning. Also connects to PS3/4/5 via a USB hub and Roll Limitless adapter and wired controller if you are a Rock Band/Guitar Hero player. I assume easy connection to PC for Clone Hero too, but can't confirm yet. Bluetooth and built in tablet stand make using Drumeo a breeze, although the volume of the drums themselves could be louder through headphones. Considering getting the additional pad and cymbal extension, for which there is inputs for. Kick pad big enough for doh le bass pedal too. Although the kick stand is very slidy so invest in a good non slip mat or drum rug.

This is an excellent little kit for beginners and experienced players who don't want to spend ridiculous amounts on a state of the art kit. You get a lot for your money. Its compact, quiet, responsive and well built (apart from snare arm......buy a cheap snare stand , people) Bought this for my 10 Yr old son, but dad's been spending a lot of time on it to. Great brain for the money and tye bluetooth feature is brilliant for playing along with yoyr favourite tracks. Superb. Highly recommended.

Muy buena dentro del rango. Rack es algo más endeble que otras marcas y nos muy práctico que las uniones se ajusten solo con llave allen (incluida). Me sorprendió la sensibilidad del pedal de hh y los sonidos. La Sensación de los pads de mesh muy buena y sin duda más silenciosos que los pads de platillo.

Je suis un débutant et je trouve le kit très bon rapport qualité prix. Points forts : facile à monter, bon son et bonne responsivité, bon prix Points faible : le rack bouge un peu (utiliser un trépied pour caisse claire améliore grandement le problème), la pédale de grosse caisse ne se règle pas en angle, la pédale de charleston n'est pas assez sensible, pad de grosse caisse un tout petit peu petit pour certaine double pédales.

Loving this drum kit. I’m new to drumming, and learning on this has been a game changer. The module has Bluetooth, many built in drum kits and you also get 3 months of drumeo for free. One minor complaint I have is that it’s a little too short for me, I wish I could raise the entire kit just a touch higher. But other than that, I think this is a very solid buy for anyone looking for an E-Drum kit.

Setup was a straightforward process, though I highly recommend following along with the setup video on the Alesis support site. Once assembled, the rack is a bit more wobbly than I would like, but none of the pads appear to be moving or sagging after a week's hard playing (I'm a heavy hitter), so I'm chalking it up as something to keep an eye on, but no immediate concern. The kit itself is very attractive. The white drum heads resemble acoustic drums, and the red trim is nice. The 10" snare is roomy enough for me to swing at without having to aim every stroke, and the 8" toms are large enough for me to hit without having to look at them constantly. All of the pads have great responses; 16th note, single stroke rolls at 150bpm on each pad didn't produce a single missed trigger, and the velocity map in my VST software showed the impacts accurately changing velocity with each change in my impact force, which means I can hear subtle differences in my strokes, just like I would on an acoustic drum. The Alesis drum module does include a Bluetooth feature that allows you to listen to an external music source (it does NOT do audio out, however), which worked seamlessly, however, the drum samples included in the Nitro drum module are not the greatest, and I'd wager that the tom and cymbal sounds are synthesized, not recorded from acoustic instruments. However, if you have access to a Mac or Windows computer it doesn't really matter since Alesis includes a free copy of BFD Player and the Dark Mahogany sound pack, a great piece of Virtual Studio Technology (VST) software, which replaces the Alesis module's sounds with studio recorded samples of real, acoustic drums. All in all, I've been extremely satisfied with what the Alesis Nitro Max delivers, especially considering the price. The real bass drum pedal is a plus, as well as the open and half open triggers on the high hat pedal. I especially loved the versatility of the cymbal mounts, which can be positioned just about anywhere (if you're a tinkerer who likes to adjust your drums every day, you'll love this). I'm a beginner who (I think) is in the process of transitioning to an intermediate player, and at this point in my development I need a kit that accurately reproduces what I'm playing. So far, the Alesis Nitro Max has fit the bill perfectly. I would strongly recommend that anyone searching for a versatile and solid sounding kit for beginning or intermediate players take a long, hard look at this drum set.
