This heated outdoor cat bowl heats exactly the way I hoped, so is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 1st comment is about the HEAT. The other night it was -9 here in the northern US and there was no frost around the side used for water, which was lukewarm. The other side keeps the wet food, that's on top of dry food, warm so it doesn't freeze and is ready to eat. I previously used single round green heated dishes from the local hardware store. They emitted very low heat, so the water dish had frost on the edge and the wet food was frozen. 2nd comment is the double bowls are great because they can be INDIVIDUALLY REMOVED to be filled or wiped out. 3rd comment is that this heated cat bowl CAN BE USED WITH OUTDOOR EXTENTION CORDS when other heated dishes can't. 4th comment is this dish is AFFORDABLY PRICED. It costs less than one of the individual heating dishes I first tried.

This is a well made product and works very well. For dogs and most animals it is great. But, as others have pointed out, the bowl shape is difficult for cats. We feed outdoor cats in MN and they all struggle with the deep bowls and vertical walls. They figure it out but they can’t really get the food at bottom well.It does keep the water and food from freezing at believe zero temps and seems well built.

We have a lot of straight cats in our neighborhood. They were great.Keep the food warm water warm in winter time. The cats love it and they have water Hot food..

The bowls are nice and large and the base is heavy and sturdy. Perfect for an outdoor cat.

Bought this for the ferals but the bowls are far too high for cats. This is rather for dogs. The stainless steel is not stainless. I used it once and the steel, or whatever the material is, stained! Also, there is no light or on and off switch, so you have yo touch to see if it is on and unplug the cable to turn it off. The temperature is pretty good and it seems to be made sturdy and of good quality. It's difficult for cats though, to eat out of these deep bowls. I am still keeping it for water and dry food and will use my old one for wet food. Overall not bad but not what I needed.

This is used to make sure our ferals and other animals we feed here, have access to fresh water in the winter. I had an issue initially with the build of this, as it wasn't sealed at the back by where the cord goes into the bowl. Sent a return request and it was handled very quickly, new bowl arrived 2 days later, very pleased with how that was handled. The bowl's themselves for the water and food were actually deeper and bigger than I thought they would be. Works great, water doesn't freeze and that's what counts.

This product really makes my life easier looking after the stray cat that refuses to come inside. He won’t eat the food out of it because the bowl is too deep but he enjoys the water in our cold Ontario temperatures. I’m glad I found this in time for winter. The product is sturdy and easy to clean. The electrical cord is a decent length and sturdy.

Very happy with this product. The cats can drink and eat in the warm. I put it in a cat shelter and its a very secure product!

Bought this outdoor heated pet bowl for our little stray cat to keep her watered and fed over the winter months, but she has since decided that inside our home is where she would like to stay. This item, however, has not gone to waste as I've set it out on our front porch to feed our local ferals as we have quite a lot in our little town. The bowl does what it should - keeps water and food from freezing, but there are a few things I feel should be mentioned concerning the quality of this bowl...-Upon opening the parcel, I was disappointed to find that the bowls had very clearly been used. It was obviously a return passed along to me, which I normally would not care about, however, the bowls had "ring lines" from previous water levels as well as little rust spots in the stainless steel, which I was not able to do anything about. I don't believe that the bowls will last very long, they will most likely rust out in a year or two. (Photo Included)-The bowls are very deep, which isn't ideal for cats - this is better suited for a large breed dog. To navigate this I have floated smaller bowls (with the same circumference) into them, which worked out better to avoid further rusting of the original bowls. (Photo Included)-In Autumn when temps fluctuate, you may find that on warmer days wet cat food will actually "cook". Wet pate becomes a dry, crispy patty, and shreds become jerky. This hasn't seemed to disappoint the feral cat community, but our little stray diva certainly turned her nose up to it, demanding fresh stuff instead. Having a temp control would be a great upgrade for this product. I will certainly shop for that the next time around.Overall, this product does keep food and water from freezing, but if you're looking specifically for cats, temp control, or a long-lasting, sturdy product, maybe look at a different brand.

As I live in a rural area, pruned, people, dumping, unwanted pets, i’ve noticed a number of stray cats that are out mostly at night. My own cats stay inside, I never let them out. Heated food and water bowl was very easy to set up, I find the metal food and water containers themselves easy to clean and, large enough to only need to feed once per day. Truthfully, I very much appreciate this product. I think it has made life for the Stray Cats that won’t come in, just a little bit better this winter. I would certainly buy this product again.

The warmth of the bowls are perfect - it doesn’t get too hot whilst keeping the food/water inside liquid.The given bowls are stainless steel, excellent quality.The cord was very well made - it was made of hard plastic that could protect from possible environmental dangers.Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase. It is great for its price and does its job very well
