This is a well made shredder, and it’s the perfect size for my home office. There’s no assembly, it’s ready right out of the box. It’s more quiet than my old one, and it makes such small bits that I think it would be impossible to piece the documents back together! It’s fast and I think it’ll last a long time.

Great design. Collection bin is easy to access; emptying it out is very convenient. Gets the shredding job done to satisfaction. Couldn't ask for a better product. So, I encourage you to get one for yourself, you'd love it.

Love the wheels. Easy to move when you want. The first shredder that we have had can shred credit cards. A little too louder than our last shredder but it could not shred the cards. One day it stopped working. Following the instructions, I unplugged it for a few hours, then it worked again.

Despite the rather flimsy construction, which makes its use difficult if moved even slightly out of alignment, inserting the paper is a chore--sometimes it grabs and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the paper must be moved to the far right and feeds crookedly. But at least it feeds! Other times, if inserting the paper straight down, it requires an extra effort/push in order to get it to grab for feeding. And often, I simply give up and try later when I am less frustrated! Even the on/off slider switch is problematic/temperamental and difficult/awkward to engage. My previous shredder (unfortunately no longer available) cost less and worked smoothly (without frustration or effort) for eight years. I should have read the negative reviews instead of just looking at the overall rating for this Bonsaii shredder. When I wrote to Bonsaii Customer Service, there were so many hoops to jump through for resolution that I was considering just buying another shredder (another brand, of course). My time is more valuable than this shoddy, gimcrack, and flimsy Bonsaii shredder! Save your money and your peace of mind: BUY ANOTHER BRAND and read the negative reviews before buying.
