Works for me, not for him.
One night I was awoken by this severe tingling sensation on my arm down to my hands. I couldn’t get rid of it and it disturbed my sleep that night. Anyone who knows me will have a hard time believing that I had difficulty going back to sleep that night, but I finally did. In the morning, I took a pill of Ceylon cinnamon (same brand) because that’s my cure all for everything... I realized that I was almost out, so I logged into Amazon to reorder. As I placed it in my cart, I skimmed the “what other people searched for” list, and saw this. My boyfriend has been having carpal tunnel for a few days so I purchased this thinking he was going to appreciate it. That night I made sure I took another cinnamon pill, but I was awoken by the same sensation on my arm down to my hands. I was pretty disappointed my handy dandy cinnamon pill could not cure this. Luckily, this bottle arrived sooner than anticipated and I popped one in before going to bed. I slept like I’ve always slept before... peaceful and unbothered. That was only 1 pill! Sadly to say, my boyfriend took it for about a week and did not feel a change. Perhaps it’s premature to stop, but if you feel no difference at all, why should you continue taking something that is no value to your body.

Reordered...good for recovery from gout flare up
I don't have huge issues with gout but occasionaly, if I have too much caffeine or drink too much tea or coffee, sometimes I experience knee pain. My parents, who are in their seventies, occasionly get get gout in their toes and joints. I gave them the remainder of my bottle and it is helping them. I ended up ordering another bottle for me because, even though I don't get a lot of gout, this is a good natural remedy to have on hand a for the times when I do. When I tried it for the 1st time, I did not notice a whole lot of difference because I was not experiencing any gout symptoms. I was using it for the antioxidants and for general flushing and cleansing of my kidneys and bladder. But after engaging in some excesses of sugar and caffeine at several back-to-back social events followed by doing some crazy experiments with my diet to see if some of the hype around 2 popular diet fads was true, I found that this helped me get rid of a joint pain flare up much faster. Now, I will say, that before you say that this doesn't work, you have to really know your body. If you have overindulged, you may not receive relief by the very next day. It might take a couple of days. However, think back to times when you had to recover without the product and how it may have taken four or 5 days for the pain in your knees l, shoulders, toes or fingers to go away instead of one or two days. Also, don't think that you can continue to overindulge in sweets and caffeine (or other inflammatory foods) with this product and get relief. I tried it and it doesn't work. You have to give your body a break so that it can recover from the flare up. This will assist the healing process -- not counteract continued overindulgence. A few days of sensible eating and this supplement will support your body's natural mechanisms for ridding itself of uric acid buildup.

Maybe... they work... but Tart Cherries are for real
So I have been taking these cherry supplements for about 6 months. I have had some issues with foot pain, which may-or-may-not be gout related. Regardless, I figures I would add tart cherry supplements into my diet. At first they seemed to help. My foot pain was mostly gone, but any other benefit was pretty minimal. THEN IT HAPPENED... I added a daily 8oz of tart cherry juice ( Cheribundi 8oz 100% tart cherry juice) into my routine (in addition to these supplements) and wow... the change has been pretty remarkable. It took about 6 weeks for the full effect. - While your results may vary, virtually all of my minor aches and pains have disappeared. I feel at least 10 years younger. My foot pain is gone...but so is my achy shoulders and knees. I am not nearly as stiff on cold rainy days... this combo is amazing. Again... my results may not be your results... but I definitely see merit in daily tart cherries. I am not 100% sure how effective these supplements are, but I know when I added in a daily 8oz tart cherry juice I had a major benefit.

Not A Fit
Tart Cherry Extract Capsules with Celery Seed sounded like a great fit for my husband and I. He was already taking a tart cherry extract as a preventative for gout. I have medical issues that result in joint and body pain. It also affects my sleep. I thought if this helps with joint pain and quality of sleep that it’s a win-win. My husband took two pills faithfully for about 2 weeks. He didn’t like that these pills are bigger than his previous tart cherry extract. This brand also requires you to take two pills. He stopped taking them so I ordered his old tart cherry extract and he was done with this brand. I finished my bottle and never felt any difference in my joint and body pain. I am writing this at 6am after being up for several hours; it hasn’t improved my sleep quality. I will finish the bottle I have and I won’t be reordering it. I think this extract may help others; but so far it hasn’t help me.

I have been taking tart cherry extract for years. I usually get a major gout attack once a year which I treat with Colgout. However, for some eight months my chemist has not stocked any and I was having minor gout attacks daily and a major episode every few months. In desperation I looked overseas and found this. I will be getting it now, moving forward, even though my chemist 'found' some of another brand. This has been a god send for me.

Doesn't taste the best, but who cares if it helps reduce gout pain?

This product could be useful only case by case, only people by people. For me, it’s totally useless after taking 2 per day and 7 days. Symptoms get worse if not using other prescription medication.
