I ordered this safe to install in my bedroom to secure certain home-defense item away from my small kids. I specifically ordered this one because of the keypad AND mechanical key. I backup key is mandatory for me, in case the battery dies. I was able easily find a stud cavity in my closet to get it installed. Though, I did have to add some blocks to the inside of one stud as the safe weirdly does not actually measure 14.5" which is the US standard width between studs. Once installed the instructions made it easy set up the keypad. The inside is a little slim which required me be a little creative with the size of my home-defense item. But once I got it set up it easily fits and secure my item. Overall, I'm actually quite pleased with the design and price of this home safe. Would definitely recommend.

I am very happy with this safe. After installing it, I ended up buying an additional one because I liked it so much. Very easy to install, and surprisingly sturdy. The steel thickness is good and thick, and overall the safe seems very well made. It comes with 2 keys as a backup to the electronic lock. No issues with programming the lock and it works fine. Highly recommended for the price. Great deal!

For the money, this thing feels very well made. It opens and closes smoothly, feels heavy and is very secure once installed. Programming is simple and you’re provided a master key should anything happen with the keypad. Install isn’t too bad. I’m not particularly handy but it wasn’t anything the average person couldn’t handle. Just measure well (both the safe and your studs), and make sure you aren’t installing behind a shower or light switch etc on the opposite side of the wall to ensure the space between the studs will be empty. Though not as much space is offered as a free standing safe. I like the low-profile nature of the in-wall safe with the added benefit that it doesn’t take up any real estate in the home.

Overall good. Mi e came with door slightly bent, doesn't close all the way at the bottom, had to bend it to seal all the way. Will hold guns, ammo, money, little things, but for long rifle, make sure you measure, so.e will not fit. Pretty heavy duty.

Safe works great, keypad is responsive and locks easy. During the installation two wood screws snapped while screwing into predrilled holes and I had to cut more dry wall to raise it about an inch. Minor inconvenience but it still looks good. I would recommend using higher quality lag screws.

Easy install nice safe

Pro: appears to be solid construction and a nice appearance. Con: no key available with shipment. Unable to open the safe to install. Tried customer service, no luck. will not repeat this mistake again.

Looks great and easy to install. Not really sure it is fireproof like it says. Door seems flimsy
