I started taking this after dealing with low iron symptoms, and I’ve tried a few different brands over time—this is one of the better ones I’ve used. What I noticed pretty quickly is that it’s gentle on my stomach. A lot of iron supplements can cause nausea or constipation, and this one didn’t do that for me, which makes it much easier to stay consistent. I take it away from other supplements and protein for better absorption, and over time I’ve noticed improvements in my energy levels. The quality feels very clean, which is why I trust this brand in general. It’s not the cheapest option, but for something like iron, I’d rather go with something that absorbs well and doesn’t cause side effects. Overall, this has been a really solid addition to my routine, especially if you’re trying to correct low iron without upsetting your stomach.

I had very low Ferritin and Iron in January. I was feeling horrible (In Perimenopause). I tried 3 different iron pills before I found Thorne. I had horrible stomach issues or constipation with the other iron. I was ready to give up on finding Iron in a pill because honestly having stomach issues every day is another kind of stress on the body. These aren’t perfect on stomach but the best so far. I was taking Vitamin C, Iron and B12 all separate so it’s nice to have it all in one pill. I have also changed my diet to add more iron and vitamin C. I haven’t had my levels checked again, but after 4 months I feel human again, energy back, no more hair loss. I take them every other day and on the Opposite Day take my multivitamin.

Not one to typically leave reviews but I am highly impressed by this supplement. I take one in the morning and wait about an hour before eating or drinking anything afterwards. It has raised my ferritin from 40 to 90 in 3 months!! I have not experienced digestion issues from it either. Does have a little bit of an iron test but that’s pretty much unavoidable with any iron supplement. Just ordered my second bottle!

I’ve been very happy with THORNE Advanced Iron Complex. One of the biggest reasons I chose it was the hope that it would be easier on my stomach than other iron supplements, and it has been. I’ve experienced no stomach upset while taking it, which has made it much easier to stick with consistently. The capsules are also easy to take and fit well into my daily routine. No after taste. If you’ve avoided iron supplements because they tend to upset your stomach, this is definitely one worth considering. It’s been a great option for me.

After discovering that my ferritin was extremely low and that it was contributing to my dizziness and low energy, I did some research and ended up choosing this product. I learned that taking iron every other day may help with absorption because of hepcidin, which can make it harder for the body to absorb iron. This supplement can cause constipation, but I found that getting enough fiber can help with that. I also like that it combines iron with vitamin C and B vitamins in one pill. I had no stomach issues with the bisglycinate form of iron, which was a big plus for me. Of all the supplements I’ve taken, this has been one of the most important for me. I honestly didn’t realize how common low iron or ferritin could be, so if you’re wondering whether your levels might be low, it may be worth talking with your doctor about getting them checked. It’s a little pricey but for what it does I found it to be totally worth it.

I’m honestly happy with this product but not happy with the batch I got this time around. Some of the pills are empty. Otherwise it does what it’s supposed to. My iron levels went from 8 to 324 in a span of 3 months. I do take ferritin and vitamin C as well to help the iron absorb.

I have struggled with low iron and ferritin for probably about 6 years. The symptoms I had were feeling emotionally flat, losing my hair, my hair strands becoming thin and brittle, being cold all the time, shortness of breath, irregular cycles, low mood and energy. I tried all of the beef liver supplements, the primal capsules, etc. and I used them consistently. Nothing ever moved the needle. After reading reviews on this product I gave them a try. It’s been 5 months now. My ferritin is now a 48 (I didn’t test previously but it must’ve been in the single digits) and I am getting my spark back. My hair is healthier and growing, I have a more positive mindset and spark back, no more shortness of breath and I’m not always wearing a sweatshirt. The key is to be consistent and don’t stop taking it. I also take with additional vitamin C but it’s included in the capsule already. This product definitely does work and I highly recommend trying it and sticking with it.

I’ve always suffered with severe anemia. I would stop taking the iron supplements my dr prescribed because they always messed with my stomach. This is the best supplement I have found. My iron levels are great and I haven’t had any of the crappy side effects.

I have been using Thorne Ferrasorb for two months now and while intially it worked great and I felt so much better and the pills were gentle on stomach, with no side effects, the second month didn't work well. I am now getting hurt burns and nasty metallic taste after taking the pills, even with food or after full tummy.
