I was thinking of making my own custom leather accessories for a while, so picking the right tools was not easy. Going to big brand stores made me wonder if indeed wanted to go that route because every little tool, needle etc. is $6 minimum. Then this gem popped up on my amazon feed. Just by looking at it, I could tell it had an overabundance of tools, so I just had to order it. Now, let me tell you. This set of tools would easily cost $300 at a crafts store on Black Friday, although I haven't seen one. The tools are solid and sharp, there are stamping tools, cutting tools, burnishing tools, prong makers, tracing wheels, punches, awls, groover... anything you may need to shape, cut, pierce and put together a leather project. All cutting and piercing tools are solid and SHARP, so you have to be careful. The needles hold pressure and do not bend or snap like what happened to my needle bought at craft store. The stampers leave a defined clean print. Everything works like it should, which is so rare these days. Another cool thing is the set of waxed threads. They are really high quality. And thimbles and finger cots included are a must when working leather, beautifully and ergonomically stored, so it doesn’t take up too much space in my crafting cabinet. Just put them in sleeves, wrap it up and Voila! I am frankly blown away! Need to get some quality leather for additional projects. Buy this thing!

Great Leather Tools Kit!This leather tools kit has everything you need for working with leather. I like the quality of tools and the leather bag is really handy for keeping the tools in one place.I highly recommend this product. It also might be a good idea for a gift.

The design of this kit reminds me of The Mummy, of the tool bag O'Connell gave Evie. Except instead of archaeologists tools, you have pretty nice set of leather working tools. All the tools are high quality, everything is sharp and comes with caps, so you don't hurt yourself when grabbing something from the kit. The waxed threads are awesome. We are beginners at leather working, so we might be easily impressed, but... Yeah, worth the money.

Depending on what you're wanting to do, this won't quite give you everything you need, but it's a pretty fantastic start and includes things you might forget about, like finger protection!Beautifully organized in a great leather tool roll. Very respectable quality for the price point. The sewing tools and waxed thread alone seem worth a $65 price. Definitely giftable.The first thing I would add to this kit? A rawhide mallet!

This is a great tool set and the setup works great to bring places to work on projects with friends our just a change of scenery. The tools we've tried so far seem to work well and be good quality.
